This software, called ‘Ghost Rental Data’, will allow for the company to access their database securely and safely in a user-friendly online environment. Allowing for them to change car information, the software will be in sync with the both the Web App, allowing for real-time up-to-date services for their customers. Both registered and non-registered users will be able to search car rentals by price, model, seating and any other potential searches. They will also be able to select and pay for the service. The consumer would choose on checkout if they will come to pick up the car of if they want the car to be brought to them. The company would instantly get that service demand through their 24/7 car rental support built directly into the software and either reserve the car for pickup or send out a pickup truck carrying the new rental car to the desired location upon time request. There should be a Web App version for the software to connect with for those who wish for a quick car rental servicer. The Web App will be responsive to any device using it. This allows for consumers to access the service from any sort of hardware device: tablet, computer, mobile devices, and so on. The software itself will be available on all computer platforms that are running any aspect of Linux, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac operating systems. The software will also be easily available to Windows 10 when it comes out later in the year. Besides, computers, the software has a minimal version for tablets for those working for the company to easily navigate through customer orders when they are on the road or simply away from the computer. The compatibility will still be available whenever they wish to provide their employees with them nonetheless

IRJET- Real Time Intelligent City Bus Management SystemIRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed real-time intelligent city bus management system (RTIBMS) to improve bus operations and the passenger experience. The system would use GPS devices on buses to track their locations in real-time. A traffic control center would display an animated map showing bus routes and positions. Passengers could check bus locations and schedules using a mobile app. The system aims to address issues like traffic congestion, unpredictable delays, and irregular bus schedules that inconvenience passengers. It would allow administrators to monitor traffic and buses, and give drivers instructions. The goal is to make bus travel more efficient and reliable for passengers and profitable for operators.
The document discusses the use of information technology in modernizing city bus services in India. It provides examples of how several Indian cities like Delhi, Mysore, and Ahmedabad are using GPS data, electronic ticketing machine data, and route planning software to optimize their bus routes, schedules, and operations. The data-driven approaches have led to benefits like improved efficiency, higher ridership and revenues, and better customer satisfaction. However, most cities still have scope to increase their use of data analytics to further enhance service monitoring, delivery, and maintenance of service levels.
A PROJECT REPORT ON Online Bus Reservation SystemJoe Osborn
This document is a project report for an Online Bus Reservation System submitted by Aman Kushwaha to the Computer Science department at AKS University, Satna. It includes certificates of completion, an evaluation sheet, a declaration, and sections on an overview of the project which describe modules for managing routes, trip details, bus details, bus stops, and bus ticketing. It also includes an introduction to system analysis and study for the project.
The document proposes a Hyperbus system using web technology to provide real-time bus tracking and improve the bus transportation experience. The system would allow passengers to track bus locations, view estimated arrival times, buy tickets online, and book seats. It aims to reduce wait times and anxiety for passengers by ensuring they have accurate bus information. The system provides benefits for both passengers and bus operators by modernizing services and making them more efficient. It incorporates features like online ticket purchasing, real-time tracking, seat booking, and a mobile app to provide updates. The goal is to improve sustainability of public transportation by maximizing passenger satisfaction and convenience.
The document describes a transport management system called Transport Plus. It has four main sections:
1. It introduces the system and describes its four types of users: administrator, approver, transport, and guest.
2. It outlines the system analysis process and modules including employee information, transport categories/routes, and requests.
3. It covers the system design including user functions, application design diagrams, use case diagram, and key tables to store employee, vehicle, route, and request data.
4. It identifies the advantages of the proposed system such as easy reporting and historical data management over the existing manual process.
This document describes a website called Find My Bus that allows users to track public and private buses. It uses Spring and Hibernate on the backend with a JSP, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript frontend. The website's features allow customers to register, view routes and maps, check fares and book tickets, while administrators can manage routes, drivers, bookings, prices and users. Drivers can update their location and bus status. Future improvements could include payment gateways and improved interfaces for small screens.
This document discusses the concept and benefits of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) as a solution to mobility issues in Chennai, India. It outlines key elements of BRT systems, including dedicated bus lanes, specialized stations and buses, efficient fare collection, simple routes and passenger information, and integration with other transit modes. BRT can provide high capacity transit comparable to metro rail at lower cost if designed and operated as a full system rather than just adding bus lanes. The document recommends establishing a Special Purpose Unit to plan and manage BRT operations independently from the existing transit agency to successfully implement BRT in Chennai.
The document proposes a system to provide transportation information to residents and visitors of a city. The existing system does not provide comprehensive transportation details. The proposed system would allow users to view public transportation schedules, routes, fares and real-time updates. It would also give registered users the ability to provide feedback and allow city employees to update transportation content in the centralized database. The system would be built using Java and deployed on a Tomcat server with an Oracle database.
The document summarizes the presentation on public transport management in Hanoi, Vietnam. It discusses the establishment of TRAMOC to manage Hanoi's urban transport network. It then describes the poor performance of public transport prior to 2002 and TRAMOC's pilot project on bus line 32 that increased passengers by 500% by improving frequency, infrastructure, and policies. The success of this project led to the establishment of model operation criteria to expand improvements across the network. It also discusses overcoming obstacles such as mindsets, policies and infrastructure through strategies like seminars, experts, and private operator participation to provide high quality service.
Contain Details about Bus Reservation system Project made by us at CDAC Bangalore. This project was using Angular as a frontend, Java SpringBoot as Backend and Mysql as Database.
This document describes a proposed smart bus tracking system using a smartphone application. The system would track school buses using GPS devices and display their locations on a map in real-time using the Google Maps API. It provides estimated arrival times to help users know when the bus will reach their stop. The system aims to address issues like students missing buses and being late. It has advantages like reducing waiting times and providing an interactive interface to track buses.

Technological aspects: The use of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) makes it possible either to devise new strategies for network operations or to improve existing
strategies. ITS also provide a greater quantity and diversity of information, thus allowing users (motorists, commercial operators and public transport customers) to make
informed travel decisions based on such factors as traffic conditions, road maintenance or construction work that potentially impact their travel time, and weather conditions that affect the road network and safety. This information is becoming increasingly available through traditional media like radio and television and, more recently,
online via Internet dedicated tools.

Graspan: A Big Data System for Big Code AnalysisAftab Hussain
We built a disk-based parallel graph system, Graspan, that uses a novel edge-pair centric computation model to compute dynamic transitive closures on very large program graphs.
We implement context-sensitive pointer/alias and dataflow analyses on Graspan. An evaluation of these analyses on large codebases such as Linux shows that their Graspan implementations scale to millions of lines of code and are much simpler than their original implementations.
These analyses were used to augment the existing checkers; these augmented checkers found 132 new NULL pointer bugs and 1308 unnecessary NULL tests in Linux 4.4.0-rc5, PostgreSQL 8.3.9, and Apache httpd 2.2.18.
