• Online and ‘e’ stands for Internet or World Wide Web.
• Branding refers to the process involved in creating a unique
name and image for a product in the consumers' mind, mainly
through advertising campaigns with a consistent theme.
• Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated
presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers.
• Brand is unique design, sign, symbol, words, or a combination of
these, employed in creating an image that identifies a product
and differentiates it from its competitors.

• Online branding (also referred to as e-branding) is
a brand management technique that uses the World
Wide Web as a medium for positioning a brand in the
marketplace.
• Creating and developing meaningful online strategies
for brands to create a context on the web.

• The e-branding strategies focus on creating a direct
relationship between company and its target audience.
• If successfully implemented, this would eventually lead to
turning the potential customers into actual buying
