The document discusses a debate between Dan Billingsly and Terry Benton regarding whether the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John should be considered part of the Old Testament or New Testament. Billingsly argues they were intended to be part of the Old Testament as they describe events before the crucifixion of Jesus. Benton disagrees, citing early Christian writers like Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Origen who referred to the gospels as part of the New Testament. Billingsly responds that these early writers were not inspired and their views do not override what is found in scripture itself. The debate discusses the implications of categorizing the gospels and involves differing
This document discusses the division between the Old and New Testaments in the Bible. It argues that the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John describe the last years of the Old Testament age, not the beginning of the New Testament. It claims that the division between Malachi and Matthew was first inserted by Roman Catholic publishers in 1486 AD and is not based on the oldest biblical manuscripts. Letters from biblical scholars and authorities are presented to support this view that the "title page" separating the Old and New Testaments was a later addition and not part of the original text.
The document summarizes the biblical stories of the Ten Commandments and Noah's Ark. It describes how Noah heard God's voice telling him to build an ark to survive an incoming flood. God gave Noah instructions to take two of every animal onto the ark. Noah built the ark along with his family and took the animals aboard. The floodwaters rose for many days before receding. When the waters receded, Noah released a dove and saw a rainbow, signs that God would not destroy the earth again with a flood. The document also briefly describes stories about the Ark being made of precious materials and being stolen by Egyptian robbers at one point.

The document argues that the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are part of the Old Testament rather than the New Testament. It provides 25 reasons why the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 19 on marriage, divorce and remarriage should not be considered New Testament doctrine, including that Jesus lived and taught under the authority of the Old Testament law, his teachings were based on the law of Moses, and he was fulfilling Old Testament prophecies rather than establishing New Testament doctrine. The document concludes that Jesus taught the same rules on these topics as what Moses outlined in Deuteronomy.
The document discusses a debate between Dan Billingsly and Terry Benton regarding whether the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John should be considered part of the Old Testament or New Testament. Benton cites early Christian writers like Irenaeus, Tertullian, and Origen to argue they viewed the gospels as part of the New Testament. The document discusses issues with sewage treatment in Youngstown, Ohio that have led to environmental problems. It provides background on the history of sewage systems being built through local parks in 1919. Recent heavy rains in 2015 caused over 100,000 gallons of raw sewage to overflow into lakes, causing high E. coli levels and fish kills. Studies from 1999-2002 found the water quality in local rivers and lakes violated EPA standards due to overflows from sewage treatment plants. The city was under a federal consent decree from 2002 to address the problems, but was unable to afford the estimated $310 million in upgrades required. A new policy, the Clean Water Affordability Act, aims to make the upgrades more affordable for the city
