The Dewji Group is initiating a '0 net deforestation' sustainable value chain strategy that integrates small-holder and industrial scale agroforestry to enhance climate change adaptation and mitigation in rural southern communities. The project aims to replace unsustainable land use with high-performing agroforestry technologies, promoting both carbon emission reductions and improved livelihoods for smallholders. It also highlights the challenges faced in scaling REDD+ initiatives and seeks to establish a model for successful supply chain sustainability while fostering community resilience.
