Kebudayaan daerah merujuk pada warisan budaya yang dimiliki oleh suatu wilayah atau daerah tertentu. Ini mencakup beragam aspek kehidupan manusia, seperti bahasa, tradisi, adat istiadat, seni, arsitektur, makanan, pakaian, dan banyak lagi yang berkembang secara unik di suatu wilayah geografis.
Latar Belakang
Bahwa untuk menjamin kebebasan masyarakat dalam memelihara dan mengembangkan nilai budayanya sebagaimana diamanatkan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia Tahun 1945, diperlukan strategi kebudayaan agar dapat memajukan kebudayaan nasional Indonesia di tengah peradaban dunia.
Bahwa penyusunan strategi kebudayaan dilaksanakan untuk menentukan arah pemajuan kebudayaan yang berlandaskan pada potensi, situasi, dan kondisi kebudayaan Indonesia untuk mewujudkan tujuan nasional.
Strategi Kebudayaan merupakan pedoman bagi Pemerintah Pusat, Pemerintah Daerah, dan
Setiap Orang dalam melaksanakan Pemajuan Kebudayaan (Pasal 2).
Strategi Kebudayaan disusun untuk jangka waktu 20 tahun dan dapat ditinjau kembali setiap 5 tahun sesuai dengan kepentingan nasional (Pasal 4).

Gitar solo adalah penyajian sebuah karya musik secara solo/tunggal dengan menggunakan alat musik gitar akustik nilon (klasik) atau akustik steel (folk).
Musik yang dihasilkan hanya bersumber dari gitar, baik dari senar ataupun
bagian-bagian lain gitar, namun mampu menghasilkan pertunjukan musik
yang utuh melalui harmonisasi keterampilan teknis, pengetahuan aransemen musik, serta cara penyajiannya.

Materi ini merupakan bahan penyajian pada Workshop Seni Musik UPTD Taman Budaya tanggal 14 Maret 2023. Materi ini disajikan di depan guru-guru seni budaya se-Provinsi Lampung. Materi ini sangat berguna bagi guru-guru seni, terutama yang belum memiliki wawasan tentang komposisi musik atau teori musik.
Komposisi musik merupakan materi pembelajaran musik yang bisa diterapkan di dalam kelas dengan cara-cara sederhana. Membangun kreativitas dalam komposisi musik tidak hanya tentang kemampuan untuk menciptakan ide-ide baru, tetapi juga tentang kemampuan untuk mempertahankan motivasi dan disiplin dalam penciptaan karya musik. Dengan mempraktikkan beberapa cara di atas, diharapkan dapat membantu memperkuat kreativitas dalam komposisi musik.
Komposisi musik dalam teori musik Barat adalah seni membuat musik melalui pengaturan dan penggabungan elemen-elemen musikal seperti melodi, harmoni, ritme, dan dinamika dengan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip musik yang telah ditetapkan dalam tradisi musik Barat.
Tradisi musik Barat memiliki sistem notasi musik yang sangat rinci, sehingga seorang komponis dapat menuliskan komposisinya secara terperinci dan dipahami oleh para musisi yang memainkannya. Seorang komponis Barat biasanya mengikuti struktur musik Barat yang telah ditetapkan, seperti bentuk lagu, struktur harmoni, atau bentuk-bentuk musikal seperti sonata atau simfoni.
Selain itu, dalam komposisi musik Barat, terdapat pula prinsip-prinsip estetika musik yang menjadi pedoman dalam menciptakan musik yang indah dan memikat pendengar. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut meliputi keindahan melodi, harmoni, ritme, dan dinamika, serta penggunaan teknik-teknik komposisi yang baik dan benar.
Dalam komposisi musik Barat, pengaruh budaya dan sejarah juga memiliki peran yang penting. Komponis seringkali mengadopsi atau memodifikasi elemen-elemen musikal dari tradisi musik Barat maupun musik-musik dari budaya lain untuk menciptakan suara yang unik dan orisinal.
Semoga materi ini dapat bermanfaat bagi pembelajaran musik di sekolah maaupun di luar sekolah.
Improvisasi dalam bermain musik
Orang mungkin beranggapan kalau improvisasi itu, esensinya adalah "spontanitas." Ini benar, tapi tidak di semua konteks, spontanitas bisa jadi kompatimbel dengan satu genre musik tertentu, misalnya jazz. Padahal, dalam musikologi, ada banyak jenis musik. Belum lagi bicara soal musik klasik dan "world music" yang TERNYATA memiliki gaya dan improvisasinya sendiri. Musik klasik, misalnya, esensinya (improvisasi) bukan spontanitas, tapi "memori" dan "gagasan" dalam musiknya. Improvisasi dalam musik ini bisa berkaitan dengan pengembangan variasi dan ornamen. Sementara itu, konsep improvisasi yang selama ini kita kenal sudah jauh berkembang, bahkan pada ranah-ranah yang lebih spesifik seperti pembelajaran musik.

Gamolan pekhing musical notation : Denoting musical sound in local style
There has been little research conducted, particularly on the notation system used in Indonesian
traditional music. Music notation is a dying type of written tradition; most local musicians are unaware
of the critical nature of recording musical works, let alone interacting through music notation as a medium.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the history and styles of written notation as local musicians in
Lampung, Indonesia, have practiced them. With a focus on notation's functions and implications. While
the issue is essential in and of itself, it also touches on broader concerns such as acculturation, the social
organization of performing artists, and the interface between oral and written tradition. Most importantly,
we must consider to what extent the usage of notation indicates shifting values and altered circumstances
of music learning in Lampung. The data are from a personal 2016-2017 investigation in Bandar Lampung.
The results indicated that the gamolan pekhing notation system still has flaws, most notably the inability to
comprehend rhythmic values denoted by written symbols. While notation is still beneficial for some
