Kareem Howard completed an assessment for Unit 1 of the NCFE Equality and Diversity award. They participated in a discussion about different types of discrimination and completed a task matching definitions to keywords and providing examples. While the concept of multiple discrimination was explored through class activities and discussion, it was not explicitly cited in Kareem's completed work. However, the assessor observed that Kareem adequately covered the material surrounding multiple discrimination through learning about prejudice and discrimination in a broader and more specific context.
The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of "rubric" in language testing and assessment and to highlight the parts of a rubric through various dimensions. Moreover, it sets forth in creating awareness of the effective use of rubrics in measuring multiple dimensions of students' learning and in reflecting robustness of this critical assessment process.

The student was able to tale part in a discussion about the different type of
discrimination. They were then set the task of matching the definition to the
keywords and giving an example about that particular type of discrimination.
Multiple discrimination as a concept was explored through the use of the starter
and main activity. It was embedded in the lesson but has not been explicated
cited in the work that they have completed. I observe that they have covered the
material surrounding this concept. Learning about this involved covering
prejudice and discrimination in a broader and more specific way.
