Puentes de Salud is an innovative model that provides comprehensive medical services and health promotion programs to the Latino community in South Philadelphia. The program offers pediatric and women's health care through partnerships with local hospitals and clinics. Evaluation data found that most patients are Mexican immigrants and the top reasons for visits included diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. glass fiber reinforced graphite particles filled in epoxy resin
composites. In this work, the various ratio of graphite particles
in weigh were reinforced in glass fiber epoxy resin composite
laminates were prepared, and then evaluated at different
impact angles from 300 to 900 keeping the erodent impact
velocity as constant. The erodent used is silica sand with the
size varies from 100 – 150 microns of irregular shape. The
results were compared with plain epoxy laminate composites.
We find that erosive wear rates of glass fiber reinforced
graphite particles filled in epoxy resin composites is the lowest.
These graphite particles resists fiber matrix debonding. A
plain epoxy laminate composite without graphite particle filled
shows the highest erosive rate.

The purpose of this Health Policy Study is to better understand adolescents’ views on what are considered core components of the medical home and identify barriers to promoting adolescent health in relation to the medical home.
In addition, this study sought to better understand the needs and challenges in providing adolescents with access to medical homes—from the perspective of both adolescents and experts in adolescent health and medical home policy. To accomplish these goals, researchers conducted focus groups with adolescents, presented these findings to experts, and gathered experts’ reactions to the adolescents’ perspectives. This randomized clinical trial evaluated the effects of social needs screening and in-person resource navigation (the intervention) compared to an active control of written resource information on social needs and child health. The trial involved 1809 caregiver-child pairs from low-income families seen at pediatric clinics. At 4-month follow-up, families receiving in-person navigation reported greater reductions in social needs and greater improvements in their child's overall health compared to the control group. This study provides evidence that addressing social needs in pediatric care can positively impact both family circumstances and child health.

This study analyzed data from 658 insured pregnant women in a Midwestern county to compare risks and outcomes between those who did and did not utilize the emergency department (ED) during their peripartum period. The study found that 218 women (33%) visited the ED at least once during this time. ED users were more likely to experience psychosocial risks like postpartum depression and smoking, have poorer birth outcomes like prematurity, and have inadequate prenatal care.
