Organizational behavior is the study of individual and group dynamics within organizations and the nature of organizations themselves. Studying OB helps individuals learn about themselves and how to deal with others as they are currently and will continue to be part of various organizations. It is important because organizations expect individuals to work in teams some of the time, and some individuals may want to become managers or entrepreneurs. Fundamental concepts of OB include motivation, stress management, personality and attitudes, conflict management, group dynamics and team building, and change management.
