Our school has come a long way in integrating technology over the past several years. We started with afterschool workshops and conferences to increase teacher professional development in ICT. Teachers then began collaborating more and sharing knowledge, resources, and ideas for using technology in planning and the classroom. The school also improved its use of ICT for documentation, budgets, communication with families, and more. Students now use technology widely to support learning across subjects, develop skills, research, illustrate concepts, and collaborate globally. Teachers are now more confident using various technologies and students are highly engaged. While the beginning was overwhelming, we have grown comfortable with ICT and continue moving forward in our journey.
