The document presents a stress analysis of an LPG cylinder using ANSYS software, focusing on calculating the maximum stress and its location under an internal pressure of 2.5 MPa. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was performed with two different types of models, revealing that maximum equivalent stresses are concentrated near the valve and bottom areas of the cylinder. The results from the FEA were validated against hand calculations, demonstrating the effectiveness of ANSYS in identifying critical stress points and burst pressure locations.
