NUTRITION
$ The function of nutrition gives our cells all the
 energy they need to perform their life processes.
 Four body system carry
  out the function of nutrition :

  * Digestive system: It is in charge of digestion
  * Respiratory system: It is in charge of breathing
  * Circulatory system: It transports nutrients and
    oxygen
  * Excretory system: it transports them to taken
THE NUTRIENTS WE
  NEED TO LIVE
DIGESTION AND DIGESTIVE
        SYSTEM
$ Digestion is the process in which food changes into
  nutrients. It takes place in the digestion system,
  which has two parts :
        * The disgetive tract .
        * Glands .
Digestive system
Breathing and excretion
$ Breathing is the process where the body takes in
  oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Two
  processes take place when we breathe :

      * Lung ventilation .
      * Exchange of gases .

$ the respiratory system carries out breathing . It
  consists of:
       * Respiratory tract .
       * Lungs .
THE RESPIRATORY
     SYSTEM
THE EXCRETORY
            SYSTEM
$ The excretory system is the elimination of the waste
  subtances collected in the blood that cells have produce.
  The excretory system is in charge of excretion and it is
  made up of :

      * Sweat glands. They are in the skin
      * Urinary system. It is made up of:
             _ Kidneys
             _ Unirary tract
THE URINARY
  SYSTEM
CIRCULATORY
             SYSTEM
$ Circulation is the transportation of blood, carrying
  nutrients and oxygen to all the cells .
$ The circulatory system is made up of :
     * Heart.
     * Blood.
 $ Blood vessels. There are three types of blood
  vessels:
       - Arteries.
       - Veins.
       - Capilares.
THE CIRCULATORY
    SYSTEM
BLOOD
$ Blood is a red liquid tissue made up of cells
  that fload in a nutritious liquid called
  plasma.
 $ blood cells . There are different types of
  cells:
         * Red blood cells.
         * white blood cells.
         * Platelets.
 $ blood plasma. It is a liquid made up of
  water with dissolved salts and nutrients.
BLOOD
THE HEART
$ It is a muscular organ located in the chest . It is
  between the two lungs and slightly tilted to the
  left.
$ Each half of the heart is divided into two cavities :

        * Atrium
        * Ventricle
        * Systole
        * Diastole
