(Kim, 2000,p.15). It can be theoretical or non theoretical like hope, love and desire or body

variable of nursing practice (2014, pg. 50). Concepts, once defined, are used in research to test
hypotheses that will increase knowledge and theory development. However, concept definitions
change with time and context. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly and succinctly define
concepts within an analysis for a meaningful application.
Mentoring in nursing practice has been thought of as a beneficial way of increasing nursing
knowledge for several decades (Stewart & Krueger, 1996, pg. 311). However, the concept of
mentoring had not been defined or analyzed, which made researching its effectiveness useless. This
concept analysis of mentoring in nursing practice shows that mentoring can be mutually beneficial
for a mentor, protégé, and nursing practice. However, further research on this concept is necessary to

there is a need to be cautious in its implementation, as they carry a number of implicit assumptions.

"The life of man in every part has need of harmony and rhythm" – Plato
Adapted from the Everyday Magic Exhibit at GoMA, the concept for my mini exhibit is Tranquil
Rhythms. The title clearly represents striking elements of the exhibit that bring all the pieces
together. There will be 5 collections shown in the exhibit, they are; Untitled (from webs from my
garden series) by Sandra Selig, Citizens Band by Angelica Mesiti, Untitled Cascade by Rebecca
Baumann, Assorted Spices for Dinner and Daydreams by Mieko Shiomi and Silver Screen by
Callum Morton. The artists all come together around three central ideas that being tranquillity,
rhythm and play. These central ideas will be furthermore explored. Tranquillity is the quality or state
of being calm/serene. It is a key part of the exhibition reflecting how the works combine in creating
a peaceful, calm environment. This is done through different elements, including music, calming
movements or from observation of an art piece. Citizens Band is filmed media portraying
tranquillity through audio as well as visual means. Each of the four performers produces music that
isn't particularly hard hitting but instead calm, adding to the peaceful environment of the exhibition.
The four musicians perform traditional music that may not be as familiar to the audience. This

There are two ways in which one leads a classroom of young entrepreneurs of learning. These forms
of education are concreted in either a banking concept or problem posing approach. Paulo Freire, the
creator of such ideas, is a man who believes in the distinct difference that either reaps learning or
destroys it. Banking concept education, according to Freire, is an education that "becomes an act of
depositing, in which the students are the depositories and the teacher is the depositor" (Freire 244).
In simpler terms, banking concept is the lack of true understanding by students. Learning is not a

I agree with to begin to collect reasons why EVM it is not used accordingly and based on that to
build up the examples. My first opinion is that EV is an important concept on measuring the
progress of the project, but not well explored as a significant tool and in such context, I think that by
knowing why the EVM is not used properly can lead toward how to use it. There are cases that PMs
know the concept but it is unusable for different reasons as well as there are many cases in which the

The Concept of Personal Identity
Personal Identity in philosophy refers to a person's self–perception, ones belief about who they are
and how they differ form others. Locke and Hume both share their ideas about Personal identity and
although they might both drastically differ they are still both puzzling. Locke's theory on personal
identity has to do with what make a person the same person over time, and to Locke remaining the
same person doesn't necessarily mean remaining the same physically. "For, since consciousness
always accompanies thinking, and it is that which makes every one to be what he calls self, and
thereby distinguishes himself from all other thinking things, in this alone consists personal identity"
(53). He believes that personal identity and consciousness go hand in hand, he thinks personal
identity is conceived through ones awareness of current thoughts and actions. You are who you are
because of your thoughts and memories. Locke believes that the only accommodation that should be
encountered in order for a person to still have their identity is the awareness of past experiences.
They must be able to remember there past experiences in order for them to preserve their identity.
Locke discusses the possibility of two forms having the same consciousness. He claims that these
two forms, because they have the same memories, experiences, and consciousness must be the same
