Social events scheduled are a haunted yard, bowling, and ice skating. The meeting provided contact information and dates for future meetings. Career services information on resumes and interviews was also shared.
35 young Russian participants came together to celebrate Shabbat and to answer three questions:
Q: What values are important?
A: Honesty, kindness, sincerity, responsibility, tolerance, compassion and mutual support. Our roots and our family.
Q: What is Jewish Community?
A: Everybody has a different position in the community. It’s important to give of your time and take part in projects and events that help shape your community.
Q: “Me for Community or Community for Me?”
A: It’s not hard to take on the task of organizing a community celebration in honor of a Jewish holiday -- to put together something important for the community.
