To achieve Active Member Status in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at Central Michigan University, a student must earn 10 points by attending 1 social activity, 1 volunteer activity, 1 fundraiser, and 3 meetings. Meetings are worth 1 point each while volunteer activities are worth 5 points and social events and fundraising are worth 2 points each. Additional points can be earned through participation in PACE and attending the Induction Ceremony. To achieve Bronze, Silver, or Gold Star Statuses, which are recognition levels after Active Member Status, a student must earn 16, 20, or 24 points respectively through various activities. Failure to notify the board about missing a signed up event will result in lost points towards achieving higher Star Statuses
