Researchers at the University of Tokyo have developed a flexible fever alarm armband that incorporates organic components. The armband contains a temperature sensor, flexible solar panel, piezoelectric speaker, and power supply circuit. It sounds an alarm if it detects a rise in body temperature for continuous monitoring of vital signs like temperature and heart rate, especially useful for infant, elderly, and patient care. The organic materials allow the device to be flexible, wireless, disposable, and produced inexpensively using inkjet printing.

While some Delhi hospitals have good coverage, government hospitals in particular have issues. The DoT recommends installing in-building solutions and more base stations near hospitals. Hospital authorities should not use infrastructure for revenue and existing on-site equipment must be allowed to function without disruption. Some civic bodies previously restricted cell towers in hospitals and schools due to health concerns with radiation, but the industry group COAI says better connectivity requires more towers and health risks are unproven.

We have sensed the patient’s ECG through 3 lead electrode system via AD8232 which amplifies minor and small bio-signals to the arduino which processes them, along with saline level. Saline level is detected through IR sensors. The output of the electrical pulse is shown with the serial monitor. The saline level is indicated by LCD. The heart rate sensor and temperature sensor would help us analyze the patients’ current health condition. In case of major fluctuations in consecutive intervals a buzzer is run in order to notify the hospital staff and doctors. The monitored details are stored in the cloud "ThingSpeak". The doctor can view the patient health condition using Virtuino simulator. This system would help in reducing the random risks of tracing a patient medical highly. Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and N0-12 (rank=1), thrombocytes/CC (rank=2), segmented neutrophils/CC (3), eosinophils/CC (4), erythrocytes/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), stick neutrophils/CC (8), leucocytes/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (error=0.000; area under ROC curve=1.0).

The flexible organic components developed for this device by the University of Tokyo researchers are well-suited to wearable devices that continuously monitor vital signs, including temperature and heart rate, for applications in healthcare settings. The device developed by research groups lead by Takayasu Sakurai at the Institute of Industrial Science and Takao Someya at the Graduate School of Engineering combines a flexible amorphous silicon solar panel, piezoelectric speaker, temper ature sensor and power supply circuit created with organic components in a single flexible, wearable package.
