producing something, rather than
spending an hour reading with no
output.
Studies suggest that hand writing
notes if more effective for
remembering than typing.
It saves time when you come to
write an assignment- your research
is already done.
Helps you to concentrate, instead
of just reading and drifting off…

Always
write the
date,
title and
teacher
at the
top.
Don’t
write
every
word, or
write
because
others
are.
Just write
the main
points, or
note down
your
questions.
Leave gaps
so you can
add to your
notes later.
Don’t use
your phone.
Writing
helps you
remember.
Check
Moodle or
GClass
before the
lesson. Be
prepared.
Handwriting
and
spelling
don’t
matter. As
long as you
can read
it.
