ble fremmedgjort fra Gud, og ble derfor barn i
den del av dem som frykter Herren.
24 Hvis dere derfor, mine barn, vandrer i
hellighet i henhold til Herrens bud, skal dere
igjen bo trygt hos meg, og hele Israel skal
samles til Herren.
25 Og jeg skal ikke lenger kalles en glupende
ulv på grunn av deres ødeleggelser, men en
Herrens arbeider som deler ut mat til dem som
gjør det gode.
5. 26 Og i de siste dager skal det stå opp en elsket
av Herren, av Judas og Levi stamme, en som
gjør hans velbehag i hans munn, med ny
kunnskap som opplyser hedningene.
27 Inntil tidens ende skal han være i
hedningenes synagoger og blant deres herskere,
som en musikk i alles munn.
28 Og han skal skrives inn i de hellige bøker,
både hans verk og hans ord, og han skal være
en utvalgt av Gud til evig tid.
29 Og gjennom dem skal han gå frem og tilbake
som min far Jakob og si: Han skal fylle det som
mangler av din stamme.
30 Og da han hadde sagt dette, rakte han ut
føttene.
31 Og han døde i en vakker og god søvn.
32 Og hans sønner gjorde som han hadde pålagt
dem, og de tok hans lik og begravde det i
Hebron hos hans fedre.
33 Og tallet på hans livs dager var hundre og
tjuefem år.
