This document discusses measuring nitrogen, phosphorus, and sap flow in trees as well as calcium levels. It was authored by Alexandrea Rice from SUNY-ESF under the mentorship of Ruth Yanai, Mariann Johnston, and the late Michele Pruyn. The author hypothesizes that phosphorus addition will decrease transpiration due to enhanced water use efficiency, and that wollastonite addition will have minimal to no effect on transpiration six years after treatment.
