Editor's Notes
in order to tell you about becoming a ninja, I have to tell you my story a little bit
if you take away one thing, let it be this.
if you take away one thing, let it be this.
45 hours without facebook
There are roughly three parts to inbox zero. 1) Your inbox is a todo list. Keep it clean. 2) You only have four options for each item on your todo list. 3) Organize the delayed items.
all the difficulty is in how you delay. are you a filer, or a piler? how do you capture the reminder in the stack so that you don’t forget? what about priority?
For instance, I switch application windows on an average of 250-300 times a day.
learn to notice when you do something more than once in a menu, and take the time to memorize the shortcut for it. it’ll take some practice, but you’ve added a new magic to your arsenal that will save you time down the road.
you have to use your regained time and energy wisely, or all of this will go to waste.
