1. Những lưu ý khi backup Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook là chương trình Mail Client: hỗ trợ các giao thức Pop 3, Imap, Mapi.
Mặc dù dùng Pop3 nhưng người dùng vẫn có thể giữ mail ở Server nhờ tính năng: Leave
a copy of messages on server.
Khi sử dụng Mapi thì Outlook data file có dạng *.ost. (
Khi sử dụng Imap Pop3 thì Outlook data file có dạng *.pst. (tử MS Outlook 2013 thì mặc
định Imap là *.ost)
Các file Archive cũng có dạng *.pst.
Khi cài win, đổi máy ta cần backup lại các file sau:
Outlook Data File:
Đường dẫn đến nơi lưu trữ của Outlook data file đối với win 7, 8
C:Users<username>AppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlook (copy hết)
Signatures (chữ kí ở cuối mỗi mail)
Đường dẫn:
C:Users<username>AppDataRoamingMicrosoftSignatures
