The New Fashion Zone platform aims to develop young Ukrainian fashion designers through an annual contest. The contest begins with hundreds of applicants submitting sketches, then progresses through casting and display of collections at the final event. Past winners have gained industry experience through collaborations and exposure at fashion weeks. The event brings together designers, experts, brands and the media to support the growth of Ukraine's fashion industry.

NEW FASHION ZONE
The New Fashion Zone platform aims to create conditions
for the development of young designers, professional
fashion community and also for collaboration of designers
with brands and manufacturers.

3. INTERNATIONAL YOUNG

The Contest is the center of development of
‘'fresh faces’’ and gives the opportunity for all
participants to share their experience, acquire
new knowledge and demonstrate their vision of
fashion to Ukrainian and foreign experts.

11. SKETCH STAG
Every year about 1000 young designers apply for the
Contest. Experts evaluate sketches of clothing
collections in different categories: Kids, Casual, Men,
Art, Outerwear, Plus Size, Z-Generation, Sustainable
Fashion etc.
NOVEMBER - MARCH
CONTEST CASTING
Designers sew two outfits from the collection
and present them to the jury. The list of
finalists is formed by the results of Casting

A large-scale fashion event covering:

Final of the Young Designers Contest
Display of collections of six outfits, as well as the identification
and awarding of winners
Creative event zone
Every 30 minutes fashion industry experts share their
experiences and communicate with participants in a free
format
A forum for light industry companies
It takes place on the main stage of the event between
designers' shows. The forum is attended by 50 top executives
of light industry companies
