Nokia has developed an open NFC platform called NFC-Hub to allow brands and businesses to create engaging consumer experiences using NFC today, such as checking in on social media or going to websites, without requiring secure NFC technology or additional software. The NFC-Hub platform provides tools for small-scale e-commerce, collecting usage analytics, managing URL-based tags, and an affiliate program.
