 Project Title : “Comparative Analysis Of Polyurethane Foam With
Other insulated materials in refrigerated container”
 Project Role : Team Leader
 Introduction to Project : The refrigerated containers are used to store and
transport perishables foods such as Products involved are dairy products, fruits,
vegetables, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and engineering materials. A general estimate
shows that 80% of communities across the States receive their goods exclusively by
transport trucks, So, if refrigerator container gets accident and the insulation material gets
damaged it will create problem to the product.
 So, The main goal of this project is to analyze the best insulation material compare to
rigid polyurethane foam which results into energy savings, mechanical strength, better
insulation and low weight, refrigeration equipment size reduction, and extended
equipment operational life and provide better strength to refrigerator container.
