Project Description: The aim of our project is to make a workpiece whose hardness is relevant to super
alloys which have specific applications in aerospace industries. Workpiece Material we have chosen is

2. Aluminium HE-30 electrode material is copper,we have done casting to prepare the super alloy with 5%
Sic composition.Later we have performed hardness test,machining on EDM ,results from these tests are
compared with theroritical values using MATLAB software with around 5 % deviation in both cases.
Responsibilities:
 Involved in Requirement gathering,material selection,journals collection.
 Involved in experimentation, casting ,operating EDM.
 Involved in learning matlab software and analyzing the results.

Project name: study report on Turbo superchargers .
Environment: South Central Railway Diesel loco shed kazipet.

Project description: The aim of our project is to study the working of superchargers components their
advantages applications and disadvantes and to identify alternatives to improve its efficiency and reduce
the amount of pollution in the form using the waste heat and pollutants coming out to preheat the air inlet
to combustion chamber.
