2. Project Details :
Project Title:Microchemical properties and sliding wear behaviour of electroplating Fe-Ni
based alloy coating on the aluminium.
Description: The objective of my project is to improve the sliding wear behaviour and
corrosion resistance of aluminium by means of using fe-ni based alloy coated by using
electroplating setup and using copper as a substrate, scanning elctro microscop(SEM) test is
taken to see the improved grain structure of the coated aluminium and winkler, wear, hardness,
corrosion test where also be done.
 Presented a paper on the title “Microchemical properties and sliding wear behaviour of
electroplating Ni-P-W-TiO2 based alloy coating on the aluminium” and got 2nd Prize in
Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technlogy, Pondicherry.
 Presented a paper on the title “Fabrication and analysis of kevlar reinforced polymer
matrix composite” and got 2nd Prize in Jaya Engineering College, Chennai.
 Presented a paper on the title “Microchemical properties and sliding wear behaviour of
