2. ProjectDescription : Polymer stretching machine, designed and
manufactured by NAL, PVDF stands for
POLYVINYLIDENEFLUORIDE. stretch a
piezoelectric PVDF strip upto four times the
initial length. . Our idea is to do a step-by-step
systematic study and analyzethe mechanisms
and physicalproperties of all the parts of the
machine
RESULTS : The problems related to the piezo-polymer stretching
machine is rectified and the machine test run is successful. ThePVDF films are
now able to be stretched upto 4 times its initial length.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (INTERNSHIP PROGRAM):
ASHOK LEYLAND(Chennai): In planttraining for 5 days in ashok Leyland.
The impact that I made: I worked in production department where caches of
buses are assembled, there are 16 stages, and I worked at almostevery stage
and assembled engine gear box assembly, stearing assembly, frameassembly,
etc.
What I learnt/Skills I pickedup: I got a lot of pratical experience, to be precise,
I got the knowledgeof parts used in assembly, the design pattern, the
lubrication system, engine systemand lastly, a confidence I can also do it..
Automotive Course from GD Naidu (Certified Training):Had a good experience
of 12 days Learnt about automobile parts and working mechanism of
engines and many more things etc..
