This document provides an outline for a book project on the New Woman in Victorian novels. It will include brief introductions to the New Woman concept and the book. Individual chapters will analyze Ella Hepworth Dixon's aesthetic New Woman and speculation, and Rhoda Broughton's inverted New Woman and social reform work as portrayed in their novels. References to specific pages and passages from Dixon's novel My Flirtations and Broughton's Dear Faustina are included.
