is a mixed-used development located at the Manafia area in Makkah's central zone, only 2.2 km south of
Mecca, Saudiia. Abraj Kudai is a planned hotel inthe Holy Haram in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arab
that is expected to open in 2017. When completed, it will be the largest hotel in the world at 45Arabia
stories high with over 10,000 rooms, 70 restaurants, rooftop helipads and consisting of a ring of 12
. According to ArabianSaudi royal familytowers. There will also be five floors for the sole use of the
accommodations, while the other two towers will bestar-fourBusiness, 10 of the towers will provide
reserved for special clientele offering five-star amenities.The estimated project cost is $3.5 billion, and
will span approximately 1.4 million square meters.
2. DUBAI CREEK HARBOUR DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COOLING PLANT -1
The plant will be located in Harbour Canal District far from the Creek by about 800mt. the plant
capacity should equal to 8 x 5,000 TR (40,000 TR) in addition to storage capacity. Accordingly and
based on Dubai Regulation, the total plant capacity will be 48,000 TR. This, according to regulations
and load profile, yields that total storage capacity should not be less than 54,000 T.hr. with 8,000 TR
peak withdrawal capacity.
3. MBR DEVELOPMENT DUBAI HILLS STATE DISTRICT COOLING PLANT –1
Mohamed Bin Rashid (MBR) Dubai Hills State Development Project district cooling plant DCP-1.
The development will be served by two plants (48,000 T.R. each). The first plant is DCP-01 and its
location is proposed within the Mall utility area, the second plant is DCP-02 and its location is
proposed at utility plot no PA-11-UT-03 near to the development entrance from AL-KHAIL Road. It
is anticipated that DCP-01 will be constructed to serve the development in phases; the first phase has
a capacity of 10,000 ton which is for the Mall, with ultimate connected load capacity of 48,000
T.R.The plant capacity (48,000TR) was calculated using plots GFAs, cooling figures and appropriate
diversity factor. The plant capacity will be achieved using 8 x 5,000 TR (40,000 TR) chillers in
