YOUTUBE CHANNEL • I will create a YouTube page for my magazine so that the target audience can see behind-the-scenes and how everything is done from taking the pictures to putting the magazine together. The channel will also have exclusive interviews with K-Pop artists, daily vlogs of the contest winners who are at concerts or in Korea and it will also provide dance tutorials to popular K-Pop songs so that the audience can learn how to do it as well. • YouTube is an international media platform which means people outside of the UK can also see Catcher’s magazine channel which will broaden the audience and eventually my magazine will go from being targeted towards a national audience to an international one too.
- 3. INSTAGRAM PAGE • By creating an Instagram page, the target audience will be able to be updated on upcoming issues and other important information through the use of pictures and videos. It will include videos of what artists are like off camera and allows my magazine to promote itself without having to be too formal which does not match my target audience. • The page will have videos of bloopers and other similar content so that my magazine will be known as a fun one that focusses solely on its audience instead of how professional they appear. • To be more interactive with my target audience I will have contests where the winner will be able to have access of the Instagram page and upload appropriate and relevant posts.

FACEBOOK PAGE • I will also create a Facebook page as it is one of the most used social media sites internationally, which mean there is more chance my magazine will be discovered if the whole world has access to it from a site that they already have as to having to create a profile for another site just to access information. • The Facebook page will have notifications and send them to whoever follows/likes the page so that they receive information straight away and do not miss out on anything important. • It will have a yearly calendar so that followers can see what events the magazine will be holding when and where and be prepared before hand. • I will use the Facebook page as a source of information to inform my target audience, whereas the Instagram page will be for entertainment.
- 5. KAKAOTALK PROFILE • Kakaotalk is the equivalent of WhatsApp whose main users are Koreans with a total of 75 million people using it. The app is also available to download for free here in the UK so my target audience will be able to create a profile and follow the magazines official profile. • This will give the target audience a chance to see how society in Korea is like and take a closer look at Korea’s culture. The app has emoticons that have typical Korean slang which would appeal to the audience as it is keeping within the fun theme. • They will also be able to find other fans of both the magazine and K- Pop artists and communicate to them which will connect my target audience together.
