My duties were; to prepare material requisitions:

between Italian Supervisors and locals from English to Kazakh

Job duties were: to maintain everyday verbal communication
between construction supervisors and multinational different trade
workforce about the policy of the company on HSE issues,
accommodation matters and many other cases regarding work
activity on construction sites of the project. I was also responsible
for organizing, providing and maintaining minutes of Workers’
Representative Meetings which were held every two weeks, in two
languages. During these meetings which were attended by
Construction manager, HSE Manager, Material supply manager,
Administration manager we discussed questions relative to all
work activities of personnel and their behavior after the end of
working hours, results of accommodation vessels inspections,
introduced workers with new orders and rules and listened to the

I worked for the production department-(Piles and Flares). Direct
job location was a big fabrication workshop on the Caspian yard of
the company. There, huge piles and pipe-racks were being
fabricated for the needs of Kashagan Caspian Sea field
development project of AGIP KCO. During everyday welding
activities on weld joints, weld repairs, back gouging, grinding,
weld joint inspections and many other work activities I used to
interpret between Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, English
supervisorsforemen and local workforce from English into
KazakhRussian and vice-versa.
I had been also responsible for timely readiness of Confined Space
entry and Hot work Permits when we started to prepare barges for
transportation of ready 65m long, 250 tons huge Piles to Kashagan
field.

(Total Engineering Services Team) office in Tengiz. Main
responsibilities were: permanent update of the schedule of our
employees’ rotation, accommodation. I have been in charge for
ordering, receipt, logging and distribution of PPE. Almost
everyday I had been busy with requisitions for TCO buses,, plane

that, I translated lots of documents for the Director of the company
as well as provided verbal interpretation during meetings with
representatives of contracting companies.

Worked for Mechanical Maintenance department
of”Tengizchervroil” LLP. Translated manuals, instructions,
method statements and other documents including reports about
Gas Turbines and many kinds of different equipment related to
planned and emergency maintenance of Gas Turbines and other
auxiliary equipment of 6 TCO Power stations; such as starting
diesel units, their accessories, barring gears and gear boxes. In
offices, workshops, and during planned inspections and emergency
repairs of GTS-14(Gas Turbine Stations-Power Plants) and NPS-
480 (New Power Stations –Power Plants) Gas turbines interpreted
between foreign instrumentation, mechanical and maintenance
engineers and locals from English into Kazakh Russian and vice-
versa. Lots of times was present during discussions of Automatic
control system computer readings in Central Control room of
power stations as well as while repairing or replacement of
different sensors, gauges, transducers, detectors of pressure,

Venture “Bechtel-Enka” for “Tengizchevroil”. Translated
applications, contracts, letters and etc. Many times translated
business meetings with subcontractors from Aktau and Atyrau.
Together with a construction engineer had been on a business trip
to Atyrau. Two months interpreted between heavy lift supervisors
and crane operatorsriggers on construction site of Train 5
expansion project. Eight months worked with electrical and
construction engineers, technicians and instrumentation group and
locals during the construction of a transformer substation near to
existing Power Plant and two more new Power stations (Gas
Turbine Generator systems) Everyday I had to prepare Work
Permits and speak about many kinds of electrical cables, their

1997 – 1998 Translator Catering director’s assistant. Catering department.
Kazakh-Canadian JSC “Hurricane Kumkol Munai” Inspected
canteen equipment and kitchen utensils in canteens at Kumkol
oilfield and in Kyzylorda city, prepared reports to Catering
manager. Ever two weeks I had to check the quality and quantity
of food products bought in markets of Shymkent and Kyzylorda
After completion of computer training I translated official letters,
weekly reports and contracts. Then I was moved to Agriculture
enterprise. Translated documents and meeting with subcontractors.
Two months worked with an instrumentation engineer from the
USA in the “Koch” meat plant of the company. We trained locals
how to operate the plant equipment, understand computer
programs and provide maintenance. With a plant grower from
Canada had been on business trips to Shymkent and Aktobe.

had been as well responsible for supporting conversations between
Israeli specialists and representatives of regional Administration
from Shymkent and Saryagash district Administration.
1973 – 1974 Translator in the headquarters of former Soviet Pacific fleet
Vladivostok city, Russian Federation. My duties were to translate
some articles from newspaper South China Morning Post and
newspaper Stars and Stripes of US Pacific fleet about new kinds of
armaments, their technical characteristics. Unforgettable for me
were the translation of some intercepted telegrams about ensuring
safety of Leaders of two superpowers, L Brezhnev of USSR and
Jerald Ford of USA in the building of a sanatorium in the forest not
far from Vladivostok. At the end it had been agreed that air safety
would be ensured by US Navy planes from the board of aircraft
carrier “Constellation” based in Japan Sea, land security- by
detachment of Soviet Pacific fleet infantry.
