The document compares the sensitivity of iPSC-derived neuronal cells and SH-SY5Y cells to 32 compounds. Two types of iPSC-derived cells are tested: central nervous system cells (CNS.4UTM) and peripheral nervous system cells (PERI.4UTM). The cells were treated with compounds for 48 hours and cell viability and neurite outgrowth were measured. The results showed that CNS.4UTM and PERI.4UTM cells were more sensitive to neurotoxic compounds compared to SH-SY5Y cells. Certain compounds like colchicine, suramin, and nocodazole produced neurotoxic effects in all three cell types.
