Remember the Human. Behave as if you were face-to-face. Respect other people and their time. Respect other people’s privacy. Be forgiving of other people’s mistakes.
Do’s & Don’ts for Our Online Discussions: Use each other’s names to create a friendly online tone. Remember people cannot see your body language or tone of voice so keep your language direct and respectful. Avoid slang, jargon, and acronyms.  Do not present your personal opinion as fact.  Use “I” statements when sharing an opinion or idea. Do not use all caps.  It is interpreted as yelling. Really read the responses already posted before posting your own to avoid confusion and repeating what’s already been said.
