and 1% methane.
• The planet’s inner core is made up of rock,
and is roughly the same size as Earth.
• Similar to Uranus, the blue coloration of
Neptune is due in part to its atmospheric
methane.

1500 mph (recorded on the Great Dark Spot).
• Although not as visible as Saturn’s, Neptune
also has 5 known rings.
