Slides should be used to support the presenter, not to present any detailed information. Use them to help the presenter make a point.
Put detailed information, complex visual data such as charts and graphs into a set of handouts that the audience can digest after the presentation,
not during. This helps to give the whole presentation more impact and more enjoyable for the audience – and in fact gets them on your side
