Neha Choudhary Reference
March 1st, 2015
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing today on behalf of Neha Choudhary, a student of mine at
Roosevelt University. During the period that I have worked with Neha,
she has been an exceptional student and displayed several impressive
qualities which give me great confidence in recommending her for hire as
an HR intern for your organization.
The first quality that sets Neha apart from many others is her work ethic
and commitment to excellence. As a student of mine she consistently
produces a high level of work in the classroom, and is very performance-
oriented. She is very intrinsically motivated and holds herself to very
high standards. Outside of the classroom, her work ethic is demonstrated
by her pursuit of multiple graduate degrees, as well as her involvement in
multiple professional and civic organizations, both here and overseas. She
is clearly a high-energy individual who vigorously pursues her goals and
works hard to meet the high standards she sets for herself, and I have little
doubt that she would bring these qualities to your organization, becoming
a valuable asset.
The second set of qualities that really impress me about Neha are her
professionalism and maturity. She is a person who consistently shows
up prepared and ready to learn, starts projects & assignments early and
seeks feedback on her performance, and who demonstrates an eagerness
to develop her HR knowledge and skills. She is well-spoken, has great

people skills, and has shown to be a good teammate. From her travels and
international work experience, she has gained impressive skills in relating
to people of different backgrounds and life experiences—qualities which
are key for any HR professional in my opinion.
A final quality that stands out about Neha is her intelligence. From our
interactions, it became very clear that she is a naturally intelligent
individual who learns quickly, understands things deeply, and makes
great decisions. This was demonstrated in my classroom, where Neha
was consistently able to take complex problems, analyze them correctly,
and think critically to develop strong solutions. She was able to take
information we learned and take it to the next level, demonstrating
impressive cognitive and analytical abilities.
In sum, I would like to reiterate my confidence that Neha would be an
excellent intern for your organization. She is a motivated, bright, and
highly competent professional who deserves an opportunity to show her
immense talents. I have little doubt that if given an opportunity to work
for your organization, you would be extremely happy with your choice.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions or
would like to further discuss Neha as a candidate.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ryan J. Petty
