It is my honor to provide this letter of recommendation for Dori Williamson. As one
of Dori’s previous supervisors at The Job Council (TJC) I am very knowledgeable
about the skills, aptitudes, and professional abilities that she has developed over the
past seventeen years. Dori’s employment record with The Job Council, along with
her continuous promotional gains throughout her career, testify to the extremely
capable and ever growing individual that she is. She will be successful in any
position she chooses to accept.
Dori Williamson has provided outstanding services to collectively 1000’s of
community individuals who come from very diverse backgrounds. Whether a
classroom teaching environment where she guided and motivated individuals to
prepare for job search or the individual conversations she has had helping people
overcome obstacles within their life, Dori’s professional skills and warm heart shine
through. Her communication style is professional and caring, respectful and
intentional. Her ability to clearly articulate complex concepts, as well as explain
confusing human nature issues in a way that assists someone with their own
growth, is remarkable. She cares deeply for the individuals she coaches and
generously shares her kind heart with all people.
Dori has also provided exemplary services to business leaders in the community
who seek to grow their business while investing in the training and education of
individual job seekers. Marketing to businesses, educating businesses about the
services TJC provides, placing individuals within a business where they can grow
and learn, and following through with both parties to insure success demonstrates
Dori’s high performance skillsets.
As an integral member of the team at TJC, Dori has also played a key role supporting
other employees. I believe that she is seen as a stable, supportive, and
knowledgeable senior staff member who genuinely wants to support her team
members while contributing to the creation of a healthy workplace environment for
all employed including supervisors. She has very good listening skills and is
extremely respectful to her fellow team members when assisting in program
redesigns and/or problem solving. Because of Dori’s leadership skills and personal
professionalism fellow employees seek her out for support, a huge compliment to
Dori. Dori has set high workplace standards for herself and works diligently to role
model those standards to others.
In addition to being a solid human being, a role model employee, and a grounded
and humble woman, Dori has excellent hard skills. She has strong project
management, teaching, teamwork, and customer service skills. She has outstanding
organizational skills, is technically competent, understands the need for effective
reporting and data development, operates effectively within a team as well as
independently, and communicates eloquently in public speaking forums as well as
respectfully and tactfully to individuals coming with widely diverse backgrounds..
Dori is very capable of working in a dynamic department while being competent
with a large scope of work. She is a highly capable professional who is eager to meet
and exceed the department's goals and supervisor's expectations. Without question
Dori Williamson is a quality person, who is trusted and valued by co-workers,
