This document outlines the objectives and process for the NeBooks project, which aims to create digital books about Nebraska's history and stories. The objectives are to understand the NeBooks project's history and current state, view examples of completed projects, discuss how to get started, and brainstorm content ideas. A 7 step process is provided for developing a NeBooks project: 1) partner with a teacher, 2) narrow topics, 3) choose a story, 4) research, write and gather sources, 5) storyboard, 6) create a timeline, and 7) ask for help. Participants are encouraged to collaboratively develop NeBooks content about the state.
