The propeller is operated for a
range of advance coefficients,
J= 0.2 to 0.7 and the
hydrodynamic characteristics
are observed. The thrust and
torque are in close agreement
with the experimental data.
The thrust coefficient (KT)
calculated from simulation is
nearly same as the
experimental KT. Whereas, the
calculated torque coefficient
(KQ) is little lower than the
experimental KQ.
