Calapan Elementary School celebrated Lakad Agham to raise funds for their new covered court project. Despite rainy weather, the event was a success with crowning of science-themed beauties and guests of honor. The program included a parade, coronation ceremony, and messages of support from the district supervisor and community leaders. The event highlighted the school's development goals and strong partnership with stakeholders.

2. Simple initiative may lead to something remarkable! Calapan Elementary School
celebrated the LAKAD AGHAM 2013 not to simply showcase pride and beauty but in a
purposeful way help raise fund in putting this years’ biggest school project, the covered court.
For the past few months, several improvement is evidently observed in the school thru the
collaborative efforts of the Teaching Staff, PTA Officers, Brgy. Officials and Parents. With such
school activity approved by the community proves what kind of rapport has been developed with
the stakeholders.
With the Theme: “Unravel the Causes, Build the Solution, Empower Science Clubbers to
Nature”, the LakadAgham 2013 was successfully concluded with momentous highlights very
much appreciated by the crowd. Despite of the rainy condition and relocation of venue, our
District Supervisor Madam Arbe G. Apostol humbly braced the event which made it extra
special.
The program started with a parade of the reigning Beauties and Escorts together with the
CALES Students and Faculty, PTA Officers and proud Parents. It was followed by the
Proclamation and Coronation Ceremony where in the avenues is the Grand entrance of the
Beauties and Escorts, donning of sashes by their parents, Awarding of trophies/ garlands and
bouquets.
2013’s Bb. Agham is Jhaycel Cassie C. Johnson, a kinder Pupil under the advisory of Ms.
JonalynTacdol. Proclamed G. AghamBenjo L. Corpuz is a Daycare pupil of Mrs. Alejandra
Mejia. Bb. TeknolohiyA is Aprel M. Gamarcha a Grade VI pupil under the advisory of Mr.
Lorenjone S. Valdez and G. Teknolohiya Michael E. Leynes is a Grade I pupil of Mrs. Arlene A.
Corpuz. Bb. Pananaliksik is Allayza Joy M. Maligalig, a kinder pupil also under the supervision
of Mrs. Alejandra Mejia. Nicole E. Gaerlan is 2013’s Bb. Kaliksan under the advisory of Mr.
Lorenjone S. Valdez.
The event was also participated by Mrs. Angelina Macaraeg, Burgos Elementary- School
Head Teacher together with Kgd. Roberto Velasco (Committee on Education), the ever
supportive Parents Teachers Association President Loreto A. Santillan and Brgy. Captain
Rodolfo P. Tacdol.
Madam Arbe G. Apostol in her message, expressed her support and appreciation of the
said event and as well as the concern of the community that they continuously consider the
schools improvement and development plans and goals. Indeed a big kudos for the job well
done.
The programme was ended with PTA Pres. Santillan’s Momentous words to bring home
talked about the goodness and importance of the LakadAghanm Celebration.
