This document proposes ways for the NAACP St. Petersburg Branch to improve its client intake ratio for resolved complaints. It suggests enhancing student recruitment to increase the number of trained volunteers. Establishing a relationship with Stetson Law students who previously volunteered successfully and providing experienced volunteers and legal support for training could help retain qualified volunteers. With more manpower from an enhanced recruitment and training strategy, the proposal aims to eliminate peaks and valleys in volunteer retention to ultimately improve the resolution ratio for client complaints.

Learn how New Hampshire and Rhode Island have embraced a journey to effect change to provide an array of services to youth and young adults. In New Hampshire, the process has created one state team, a pilot project team, and twelve local teams focused on collaboration, partnering and resolving gaps in serving multiple state agencies’ neediest young people. In Rhode Island,the partnership has expanded services through the 16 Youth Centers in the state, where partner agencies are collaborating to avail young people opportunities through multiple pathways to education and employment. collaborative and systematic approach for a cross delivery system for young people.
