TITLE
The title of my film is “Sparkle”.
• The title of the film will appear in the final opening sequence clip that will
fade into a black screen and will have a duration of about 10 seconds.
• After the title is displayed the screen will go to Jordan and Megan meeting
and then the opening sequence will end.
SOUND
• I will be using sound in my film opening to set the mood and tone of the
story.
• Each scene will have sound effects but some like the beginning and ending
of the opening will have an instrumental version of a song that enhances the
mood of that scene.
• By enhancing the mood of the scene, you will get more of an idea of how
Megan really feels.
Sound like:
 Radio Music
 Social Media Notification Dings
 And simple everyday sounds that are recorded with the image
LOCATION
• Mahnaz’s House will be used as Megan's’ house, bedroom, bathroom, living
room, etc.
• The outside of Mahnaz’s house will be used as outside Megan’s house
(walking home, being bullied outside home) scenes.
• We will be using a park, and in front of a school for all outside of the
neighborhood scenes.
All the locations chosen are good locations because it is exactly where the
scene is located. It’s a home with nice surroundings and nice people living
around.
PICTURES OF LOCATIONS
PARTICIPANTS
• Mahnaz Carroll is a friend who will be playing the role of Megan. She will also
be helping me with the script and editing by just giving suggestions to the
final product.
• I will also be having some friends of Mahnaz’s play as the bullies and as Jake.
Also Either my father or Mahnaz’s parents will be playing the role of the
parents in this opening.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
• My filming is in a nice friendly neighborhood. No construction, so no harmful
equipment.
• The only dangerous props that will possibly be used in the film would be a
knife, but it will have a cover on the blade or will be a dull knife.
• Cameras and editing equipment will be used and signed out by me
(Brendan) from my teacher (Ms. Catsicas)/I will also be using equipment of
my own as well like a camera.
