This essay will be discussing two different situations where skills by social workers are needed when
working with groups. I will define the term group and will be reflecting on my own experiences of
working within groups and what I have observed in regards to individuals, behaviours and group

of membership may be unavoidable, voluntary or limited. For example, attending school is
compulsory for young people and therefore the school group is regarded as a formal group . Whereas
they are at liberty to choose their friendship group within the school, therefore this is considered an
informal group (Adams, 1993, p.309 ).

Human development can be studied by researching both physical and mental development. It can be

focus more on Cardiovascular, respiratory, and osmoregulatory physiology. As such, this is providing

Writing is always something that I needed to spend a little more time at. I was much better answering

In the movie Whale Rider by Niki Caro, the theme is subjugation of women and the main character
Paikea manages to surpass the patriarchal beliefs so she is a winner which is good for the community

The main event of this movie is when the whales answer Paikea s call for help and end up stranded on
the shore. The locals are unable to move the whales, after many attempts they give up and walk away
with sadness. Then, Pai climbs up on the whale and rides it out to sea, making the rest of the whales
follow. At that moment she is unafraid of dying and goes underwater with the whale. The whales mean

Earth can be seen as a grain of sand on the beach once we compare it to the whole universe. The
question is what possible could occupy the majority of the universe, just within the Solar System we
can see that the planets are orbiting around the Sun. We can determine where the planets are by
calculating how fast the planet moves and where it is at in a certain time. So if the planet isn t where
you calculated it to be at what are the causes? One possibility is that we still don t fully understand all
