ABSTRACT
Digital transformation is more than moving the traditional banking sector into the
digital world. It is an important change that the Saudi Arabia financial institutions are learning
to interact and satisfy the client's needs. The dissertation covers the impacts of digitization of
the Riyad Bank, Al Rajhi bank, and NCB bank. Digitization begins with understanding the
customer's preference, choices, dislikes, likes, and behavior as well as aspirations and needs.
The changes bring a shift in the organization from product centered into customer-centric.
The data collection involved questionnaires, sampling and content analysis. Research
questions and survey to the employees, potential and existing clients as well as management
generated information in the open and closed ended questionnaire. A total of 299 were issued
with the questionnaire, after examination and analysis, the responses had a reliable and direct
response towards the study. Analysis of the financial year's reports was crucial in the last three
years dated 2014, 2015 and 2016. ATMs and point of sale have increased in recent years due
to internet penetration. There are suggestions on the areas of improvement in the banking sector
in the oil-rich country. Improvement of the computers passwords and the customer's security
for their wealth emerges as a loophole that needs to be addressed.

Agent banking and its prospects in bangladesh prepared by md. riad shahriar r...Comilla University
Agent Banking means providing limited scale banking and financial services to the unbanked population through engaged agents under a valid agency agreement, rather than a teller/ cashier. It is the owner of an outlet who conducts banking transactions on behalf of a bank. It is one of the most popular financial services in the world where there are difficulties in accessing geographical locations easily. And that is why agent banking is very successful in Latin America & Africa. Other developed like United Kingdom, Australia etc. countries are also gradually deploying agent banking because it reduces the cost of operating of the bank. Most of the services of a bank can be provided through agents, thus people of remotest area of a country can be brought under proper financial structure by the virtue of agent banking. According to the agent banking guideline the software of any individual agent will be connected to the core software of the bank, so transactions that will take place in agent premises will be shown in the banking system real-time. To set up a branch in a specific area is very costly, so the banks are enhancing agent banking services for the unbanked people in which they have a little cost. There are almost 160 million people in Bangladesh but most of the people are unbanked. If these people can be included in the banking sector, then not only the economy of the country but also the unbanked people will be benefited from it.

Interest-rate risk substantially affect the values of the assets and liabilities of most corporations and is often a dominant factor affecting the values of pension funds, banks and many other financial intermediaries.
The market-oriented economies and the global market place have enhanced the competition for funds and market share thereby cutting down the spreads of the banks, a part from declining spread, banks are also witnessing a faster growth in their expenses when compared to their revenues predominant in these expenses are the raising salary expenses and loan-loss expenses. banks are responding by introducing new product lines and developing the existing services into more sophisticated ones,in order to offset the rising expenses

As of my last update, Pi is still in the testing phase and is not tradable on any exchanges.
However, Pi Network has announced plans to launch its Testnet and Mainnet in the future, which may include listing Pi on exchanges.
The current method for selling pi coins involves exchanging them with a pi vendor who purchases pi coins for investment reasons.
If you want to sell your pi coins, reach out to a pi vendor and sell them to anyone looking to sell pi coins from any country around the globe.

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.

The best way to sell your pi coins safely is trading with an exchange..but since pi is not launched in any exchange, and second option is through a VERIFIED pi merchant.

If you are interested in selling your pi coins, i have a verified pi merchant, who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges looking forward to hold till mainnet launch.
Because the core team has announced that pi network will not be doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges like huobi, bitmart and hotbit can get pi is by buying from miners.
Now a merchant stands in between these exchanges and the miners. As a link to make transactions smooth. Because right now in the enclosed mainnet you can't sell pi coins your self. You need the help of a merchant,
i will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant below. 👇 I and my friends has traded more than 3000pi coins with him successfully.

DAY BOOK
In the day book we check daily transaction of cheque, vouchers and cash receipts.
We check all DR and CR transactions of Customer accounts as well as all GL Heads .In
Pls & Current accounts if the withdrawal of cash is above Rs.25000 then 2% government
with holding tax should be deducted. This tax deduction is applicable only on cash
transactions. If the account holder wants to save the withholding tax then he can make
transactions in Transfer. A build-in system in computer deducts this tax from accounts of
customers.
PENSION & BENEVOLENT FUND
We practice on checking benevolent fund in which payment order no, issuing and
approval dates both are mention. In this some percentage of amounts is given by Govt: to
it retired employee. An increase is also announced by Govt: time to time. The current
increase announced by Govt: is 15 & 20 percent depending on date of retirement.
HOW TO MAKE VOUCHER OF BENEVOLENT FUND TO RECEIVE THE
PAYMENTS AND ITS PROCEDURE.
DEMAND DRAFT PURCHASE ACCOUNT

AUDIT
In NBP the audit are of two type
1) Internal audit
The internal audit is done by the internal employees in the organization. The internal
audit is done as annually, quarterly as every 4 month and surprise inspection by the main
branch. The responsibility of the internal auditor is to check the previous month audit
report for the verification.
The nature of internal audit is concern with the examination of records after their
completion the errors and the fraud may be detected from the record. So the internal audit
conducted by the special staff. And the procedure of work is that the accounting staff is
checked all the recorded transactions.
15. BAHRIA UNIVERSITY
11
So due to internal audit the auditor investigate the internal organization activities and the
finally he submitted the report to the organization manager.
2) External audit
In the external audit are usually a chartered accountant and the auditor were assigning by
the branch office he is not an employee of the organization. He is an independent person.
So it is not a part of internal control and in this the auditor cannot suggest improvement
in the internal check system.
The external audit can perform his work according to term of appointment and the scope
is very wide. The auditor can check the true and fairs view of earning capacity and
financial position.
In the external audit have two steps
1) Hire by the organization.
2) Monetary
The bank hire the auditor if it worth is 1 million external audit is mostly done by the state
bank as annually or surprise inspection. External audit depends upon the size of the
branch. In NBP external audit was done by the FARGOSON groups.

General Ledger ACCOUNT
General ledger account is very important account for any bank this account maintain
every day from one branch to another branch and the time period for GL account is
within 30 days after that the penalty will be given which is a huge amount
In the GL account the bank check the amount code (branch), confirm in the other branch
if the amount is big.
In the GL NBP account it include income tax voucher, property tax etc.
For the responding branch debit voucher for salary transfer from steel mill.
The NBP make F-15 RBV DR of steel mill at the time of payment and CR NBP general.
And account no and code of GL is 100, in every branch of NBP.
NBP debit its DDP account and gave money to person and send its document to
Islamabad where they collect its payment from different department and then they credit
its account when they receive/collect the amount so Islamabad debit its all account.
EOBI(EMPLOYEMENT OLD AGE BENEFIT INSTITUTION)
In this account the amount come from the main branch and NBP pay pension to the
person every month and the remaining amount send back to main branch.
EOBI is basically an institution who deals the pension system of Governmental
organization and gave the amount to the pensioner; this amount is basically deducted
from employee’s monthly salary and after retirement pensioner take this amount
17. BAHRIA UNIVERSITY
13
The NBP take the document of the person which include document with the sealed, his
name, monthly salary amount, name of the organization, job description etc. then NBP
verify all the documents.
After check then NBP make the pensioner file and assign the PPO number and put the
entire necessary document in this file
HOW TO MAKE THE PENTION BILL
NBP take two forms from pensioner that is STR 35 and 72, TR 36. Register of pension
payment is always made by treasury department. It is also called PPO (pension payment
order) and true copy form.
CATAGORY
1) Civil pensioner.
2) Federal government.
3) Army/navy/ air force.
So the pension distribution system is segmented into above mention departments. All the
department deals with its own pension system but as it all belongs to government so bank
are involved
AGPR deals with cabinet hospitals and federal department pension they issue letter to
treasury department then they send to bank in treasury dept. form stamps are necessary
People get the pension on his basic salary the ratio depend upon 65/35. After taken the
pension payment for 15 years then pension was increased by government.
If the pensioners are wife and she died then her pension transfer to her mother not the
child.

Recommendations
NBP should computerize all its work because I noticed that during my training
employee’s still record lockers, email, and payoders, demand drafts etc record
manually.
NBP is first bank of Pakistan so its employees are less educated it must hire
highly qualified employees.
I suggest to NBP that an operation manager room must be separated from all staff
because in this branch where I got my training only one separate room for
G.Manager.
An other draw back which I found that NBP close it door staturday at 1 pm
because it’s a halfday and if any needy customer come then watchman doesn’t
open door and employees never listen that customer because he or she comes late
only just one mint its not a good way to deal human being.so it must care their
customer and treat them humainly.
Finaly one main thing I were found that computers that are used by employees are
outdated it must be facilitate its employees with the latest technology.
