I. Worked as Jr. Site Structural Engineer at PROJECT – HILTON HOTEL AND
RESIDENCE, Riyadh, KSA.
Client: General Organisation for social insurance (GOSI).
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Inspecting the site conditions and planning the work with the senior engineer and
construction manager.

2. • Ordering the Machinery, Steel, Formwork and tools as per Specifications according
to the plan by Material Requests.
• Managing a good team by allocating works according to the knowledge and skills of
the Supervisor.
• Reviewing the design/shop drawing.
• Executing the formwork, steel, concreting works according to the Shop Drawings
and Plan.
• Preparing Weekly and Monthly Look Ahead Schedules.
• Adhering to the plan and achieving the targets with dedication.
• Co-ordinating with the Engineering Department and consultant for any changes in
the shop drawings.
• Coordinating with other trades electrical, mechanical, and finishing to avoid
repetitive work.
• Preparing Inspection Request for the Executed Works and Co-ordinating with the
Quality Control Department to inspect and get Approval with the Consultant.
• Allocating resources as per the schedule to achieve target.
• Preparing weekly report and submitting to the Construction manager and
highlighting the Problems affecting the Progress on site.
• Preparing Productivity Report and Submitting to the Construction Manager.
• Ordering long lead items in advance to meet the schedule.
• Attending site meeting with other trades and taking actions for the requested items.
• Assisting the contracts department in preparing monthly payment certificate.
(For subcontractor Payments).
• Preparing back charges for the damage and submitting it to the Commercial
Department.

executing the work.

II. Presently Working at PROJECT – KING FAHAD MEDICAL CITY,
RIYADH (KFMC PPNNCC ) as Jr. Quantity surveyor/ Bar Bending Scheduler.
Client: Ministry of Health, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities & Duties :
• Preparing Valuation for Bar Bending Schedule.
• Preparing B.O.Q for the Civil works (Concrete, Steel, and Formwork).
• Assisting in monthly valuations for the preparation of IPC.
• Preparing valuations for concrete elements and steel structures where ever a
Variation is requested.
• Calculating amount of steel required for the different phases of project.
• Calculating concrete to steel ratio for easy calculation of quantities for each
element.
• Attending the weekly meeting with the Construction manager for the weekly look
ahead schedule and highlighting if any issues were found.
• Checking the Material Request for steel given by Site Engineer’s in order to
monitor the amount of steel remaining at workshop and amount of steel
being ordered for the progress.
• Following the Sub contractor for the deliveries of Steel.

4. • Checking/Monitoring the received steel to site from Weigh Bridge.
• Maintaining proper documents for easy reference. (Maintaining copies of each and
every document related to steel/steel structure from the store keeper).
• Preparing Log for the amount of steel requested and amount of steel received and
the remaining amount to be received.
• Following sub-contractor for the remaining deliveries.
• Preparing Bar cut and Bend schedule for the Site.
• Following the workshop for the cut and bend schedules.
• Monitoring the amount of steel transferred from workshop to site by approval of
Site Engineer and approval of the one who manages the Workshop. And
maintaining the documents for reference.
• Checking/Inspecting the Machineries for the Cut and bend of steel to avoid any
delay in production by proper maintenance.
• Preparing the separate list for additional items such as concrete
sundries/couplers.
• Calculating the wastage for each schedule and try to minimize the wastage by
providing proper lengths.
• The amount of steel wastage is weighted and is refunded according to the
terms and conditions of contract with the Subcontractor.
• Preparing a list of items requested by Consultant during inspection for the
additional bars which were not included in the shop drawings. And an
approval is taken from the consultant for later claiming.
• Following the consultant for the Approval of Bar bending schedules.
• Following the commercial department of consultant for the payments.
