Introduction
Company background.
K.F.T CIVIL CONTRACTORS emanated in late September 1999 as a partnership Company in
Kadoma and was later registered in March 2005 as VICTOR ADDERLY TECHNOLOGIES, Company
Number 4245/2005.
K.F.T Civil Contractors PVT Ltd, as is commonly known today, is a trading name, we carried
forward to the newly formed and registered VICTOR ADDERLY TECHNOLOGIES PVT Ltd. The
company started small yet the vision and standards steadily grew up. We have since steadfastly
maintained the status-quo of providing durable and up-to-date services. It is our pride now that our
vision with clear cut and tailor-made-goals have grown in leaps and bounds into our present
dimension of providing services at commercial scale. The company personnel tasted the hard and
tricky challenges that a tradesman needs in his field to build courage to stand up to a giant Goliath
on the construction field. We never compromised on consulting, seeking knowledge and skills.
These aspects helped us in developing the art and training needed on jobs. As a result Quality was
obtained and guaranteed. Our tick of merits was derived from unshaken technical ethics that we did
not took any job no matter how small, for granted. Every job was and is still a matter of concern
that demands our commitment and special attention. We have tasted and stood the taste of time,
economic hardships-like the year 2008. We sailed through different storms and as a result, we now
contract resource persons from various technical fields-to an extent that we key ourselves to a
considerable pool of competent tradesmen who have been formally assessed regarding their skills,
service, quality & health & safety compliance.

Health and safety
Our success and pride hinges on providing and ensuring a safe working environment for our
workers engaged in any project with minimum lost time in injuries. We at K.F.T Civil thrive to
adhere to international statutory of Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Standards.
We have a resource person in this particular field who look into issues of;
Correct protective clothing
Proper use of machinery
Office safety-proper use of office equipment and furniture
Maintaining adequate first aid kits, and training workers in basic first
aid.
Regular inspection and servicing of plant and tools.
Keeping sites tidy of any dangerous obstacles like, litter, sharp objects
lying around over which workers can trip and fall.
Monitor and supervise scaffolds and ladders for fitness and correct uses.
Check and assess food preparations and storage.

Construction planning Programmes
K.F.T Civil have in the past realised the vital use of a planner. Hence we consult and sub-contract
project planners to help in basic planning and preparation of master plans. If a project calls for
designing, K.F.T Civil is able to factor in qualified and approved draughtsmen. A thorough and a
detailed breakdown is usually given depending with the nature and size of tender/project.
Contract Management
We at K.F.T now realised a need for a high level of discipline and good record-keeping of any
project, well coordinated and monitored. We therefore crafted that at any given time, we engage a
keyed personnel to run the show especially where a number of workers are involved at various
stages, the lengthy duration and their intermittent involvement. This helps manage relationships,
service delivery and seek improvement. They are also a link between the head office team and men
on site. Our standards and management are flexible to meet any size of the job from small- medium
to large.
Internal inspection (Quality Control)
We have a construction inspection team which carries regular inspections to ensure that sub-
contractors and employees are doing their work properly. During inspection, quality control is
maintained to the satisfaction of the contracts manager, ensuring precision and accuracy to detail.
Approval is done on critical stages and instructions issued to sub-contractors to rectify technical
errors. Typical aspects include (before inspections by external parties):

3. Filling and services under surface beds
4. Walls and wall ties (building in of windows and door frames, roof ties,...)
5. Roofing – level, plumb, secure
6. Quality checks on finishing (plastered work, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, painting etc.)

These internal inspections are done before the inspections by external parties such as the engineer
or local government inspector. K.F.T Civil is more than just a maintenance and construction firm as
it offers highly qualified personnel as well as Post Installation services to all its clients. We provide
the latest relevant technology to cater for the efficient and effectiveness of the jobs done.
Road networking
K.F.T Civil realised that roads and structures complement each other. As a result we are married to
local company (DINLONE PTY LTD) run by a sound and experienced engineer with over 34 years
experience in;
Water reticulation,
Sewer reticulation including construction of ponds,
Road and storm water design and supervision
Decommissioning of sewer ponds,
Construction of pump stations, pumping mains and sewage treatment
Works and disposable works.
The engineer for (DINLONE PTY LTD) often comes in as consultant for quantity surveys,
supervision and inspections.
Steel structures
Competition has become a major phenomena in SADC and the global. Industries’ success now
hinges on quality produced rather than just quantity
K.F.T Civil now has qualified boiler makers on contract for steel structures, like stores ancillaries,
warehouses shades, bonded warehouses just to mention a few.
Carpentry and joinery
As with tradition with this trade especially with setting out of works, K.F.T Civil has equipped
herself with up to date tradesmen who brings out quality finish to superstructures especially on
roof, ceiling, kitchen fittings, b.i.c, vanities and floorings.
Bricklaying
K.F.T Civil have cost effective, efficient, good, smart, fast and neat bricklayers. We have sent one
young man to a college of civil engineering whom we groomed from an unskilled background.
Electrical
K.F.T Civil has learned through thick and thin not to compromise one iota in such a highly sensitive
electrical realm. As a result, K.F.T grew and developed skill at an advanced level, both domestic and
commercial. This was necessitated by the phenomenal technological changes and growth in the art
and science on electricals and appliances.
Electrical installation
Mining sectors-mill plants and distribution of wires to power points, connections and metering.
Plumbing
K.F.T Civil provides a well plumbtech and guaranteed job, water and sewer fittings, be it domestic,
commercial or industrial (e.g.) farms, boreholes, fuel tanks, residence, factories and commercial
sites.

Plastering.
“An immaculate finish uplifts the human spirit.” We have specialised plasterers and some few now as
consultancies on hire with a historical background from Rhodesian plasterers. Our standards are
rated based on old and new expertise blended and refined to move with time.
Painting.
“ Good colour, brightness and perfect match attracts harmony, like a bee to a petal” K.F.T Civil don’t
believe that painting will cover up for errors and brings the beauty out of it, Rather, we spruce up
and bring an elegant quality finish to a beautiful superstructure.
Research and Marketing
The contemporary business environment has been characterised by many changes, this has
inevitably necessitated the creation of Marketing and I.T functional areas within the K.F.T organ.
These are there to select and provide the best possible solutions for our clients who are the main
reason why we are continue to operate. K.F.T. has particular interest in these fields as they are a
pillar to organisational development

K.F.T Civil in its quest to deliver unique and satisfactory services goes an extra mile to follow up its
