The document describes several retail apps built on the MAAS (Mobile Advertising and Analytics Suite) platform, including:
- Flash Coupons, which allows local businesses to publish coupons within a 50 mile radius and helps manage coupon analytics.
- Flash Deals, which provides instant deals to users and allows filtering by category like restaurants. It also integrates social media APIs and uses geo-fencing.
- Additional apps described are DesiDime, Coupon Shopping, Style Match, Pinnum, Joy, NewU - each with their own unique features for providing deals, coupons, product discovery, and rewards for users.
Curate is a mobile app that uses proprietary algorithms to digitize a man's existing wardrobe in under 15 minutes without taking pictures and then provides outfit recommendations by selecting different pieces to combine. The app aims to help men ages 22-30, especially in finance, consulting and tech fields, who struggle to dress themselves but already own the necessary clothing items. It offers a cleaner and faster alternative to services that require photographing clothing or constantly pushing new purchases. The founders plan to monetize through affiliate commissions and by selling aggregated wardrobe and fashion trend data to retailers.
This document outlines a proposed fashion app called "Comme un pro" that would provide clothing recommendations to users based on a quiz. It would suggest outfits for people to feel comfortable and confident. The app would take weather into account so users are always dressed appropriately. While some suggested making it free, market research found most would not pay, so some extra features could require fees. Wireframes and a feasibility analysis were provided. The app aims to boost users' self-esteem through outfit help tailored to their needs and forecast conditions.
What strategies should I use so my app can make money? Should my app be free or should I charge for downloads? Should I make it a subscription service? This powerpoint will answer all your questions on how to make money with your app.
The document describes an app called "Comme un Pro" that provides fashion advice to users. It aims to help people feel more confident in their clothing choices by having them take a quiz and then recommending appropriate outfits based on the weather. The app is intended to be used in the mornings when getting dressed. It analyzes the user's responses and tastes to tell them what clothes they should wear to feel comfortable. The developers believe the app will be successful because many people lack confidence in their fashion choices and want extra help to feel happy and comfortable.
This document discusses the development of a mobile app called "What to Wear" that helps people choose outfits for events. The app would allow users to get advice from friends by sharing potential outfit options. Users could overlay clothing items onto photos of themselves to virtually "try on" outfits. The app aims to reduce the time people spend deciding what to wear by providing a social platform for getting input from others. It would also integrate e-commerce by allowing users to directly purchase suggested items. The developers believe this app offers a unique approach compared to competitors by combining social sharing, virtual try-ons, and convenient shopping access.
The document proposes a "smart wardrobe" solution to common wardrobe issues such as not knowing what to wear. The smart wardrobe would use a scanning device and app to catalog all clothes by type, color, size and other attributes. The app would study the user's fashion habits over two weeks to provide personalized outfit recommendations. It would offer at least three daily outfit suggestions based on weather, calendar events, and fashion preferences learned over time. Users could customize recommendations and the wardrobe would be linked to fashion brands. Unwanted clothes could also be swapped or donated via the app.

We are developing an app to help young people keep track of their wardrobes and suggest suitable outfits to wear depending on weather and circumstances.
Our app, Weather Wardrobe, tells users what clothes to wear based on their wardrobe and the weather. It is aimed at helping commuters decide their outfits efficiently. The app will solve problems of getting caught in rain without protection or carrying extra clothes unnecessarily. It will suggest appropriate clothing based on the weather in the user's area. The developers plan to make money through in-app advertising rather than payments.
Ibotta is a free smartphone app that gives cash rewards for shopping. Users can browse offers and rebates from hundreds of stores. When a product is selected, a small task like watching a video must be completed to "unlock" the rebate. Purchases are verified by scanning barcodes and receipts. Rewards accumulate and can be redeemed for gift cards or transferred to PayPal once $10 is earned. Though the amounts are small, Ibotta provides a way to get paid back for regular shopping expenses over time. Some limitations include only being applicable to selected products, a minimum cash out amount, and only offering PayPal payments. Overall, it is a legitimate cash back app despite its limitations.
The document describes a mobile app called "Ultimate Diary" created by students to help people stay organized and on time. The app would provide reminders for homework, appointments, and other tasks through the day. It was designed based on surveys finding many people feel disorganized and forgetful, and would benefit from such an app. Compared to other diary apps, Ultimate Diary's use of reminders sets it apart by ensuring users don't forget important tasks. The document outlines features of the app, how it would be made, target customers, and advertising plans to increase sales.
The document describes an app called iChore that is intended to help children, teenagers, and young adults remember when and how to do their chores. The app would send notifications to remind users to do their chores and provide instructions on how to properly complete each chore. It aims to solve the common problem of forgetting when chores are due or not knowing the proper way to do them. The app would be available on smartphones and other mobile devices to make the reminders and instructions easily accessible.

The app includes a skin detection device and can be used anywhere without Wi-Fi to find nearby shops selling recommended products located through GPS. It is aimed mainly at teenagers and adults and is considered an essential product because it assists those with skin problems in an area where few comparable apps currently exist.

The bag has several innovative features like a standby mode where it can stay open and ready, movable internal partitions, space for books or tablets, waterproof protection, and integration with an app that automatically uploads photos via WiFi. The product's promoters focus on user recommendations through blogs and videos rather than traditional advertising, hoping word-of-mouth will drive sales. Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey ...SirmaDuztepeliler
"Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey Toward Sustainability"
The booklet of my master’s thesis at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. (Gothenburg, Sweden)
This thesis explores the transformation of the vacated (2023) IKEA store in Kållered, Sweden, into a "Reuse Hub" addressing various user types. The project aims to create a model for circular and sustainable economic practices that promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and a shift in societal overconsumption patterns.
Reuse, though crucial in the circular economy, is one of the least studied areas. Most materials with reuse potential, especially in the construction sector, are recycled (downcycled), causing a greater loss of resources and energy. My project addresses barriers to reuse, such as difficult access to materials, storage, and logistics issues.
Aims:
• Enhancing Access to Reclaimed Materials: Creating a hub for reclaimed construction materials for both institutional and individual needs.
• Promoting Circular Economy: Showcasing the potential and variety of reusable materials and how they can drive a circular economy.
• Fostering Community Engagement: Developing spaces for social interaction around reuse-focused stores and workshops.
• Raising Awareness: Transforming a former consumerist symbol into a center for circular practices.
Highlights:
• The project emphasizes cross-sector collaboration with producers and wholesalers to repurpose surplus materials before they enter the recycling phase.
• This project can serve as a prototype for reusing many idle commercial buildings in different scales and sizes.
• The findings indicate that transforming large vacant properties can support sustainable practices and present an economically attractive business model with high social returns at the same time.
• It highlights the potential of how sustainable practices in the construction sector can drive societal change.
