Chinese Village Doctors Digital Framework

LINKCARE | HEALTH & WELLNES @ MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS 2015
Operación Inversiones Tanaka
China has a population of 1.4 billion; 700 million live in rural areas served by
1.37 million village doctors.
The village mobile internet digital framework will improve Chinese village
doctors’ overall service capabilities and patient’s case management.
The project strengths relationships between villagers and doctors around their
health care, providing integrated care for prevention and rehabilitation.
By March 2015, will cover 1,000 digitized village clinic pilots, selected from
10,000 registered and trained village doctors, covering 1.5 million villagers
By 2018, the project will reach 100, 000 villages, and 100 million villagers
We envision a bi-dimensional service model:
o X-axis for villagers’ general health needs: free Wi-Fi systems and
equipment for village clinics, wearable medical devices, and large e-
commerce health commodities etc.
o Y-axis for villagers’ health professionals services: continuous education
and centralized procurement of medical equipment and prescriptions.
