Synoptek developed a health assistance mobile app that helps users to manage their patients’ vitals by connecting
with various devices to measure glucose level, blood pressure, weight, and other activities.
• The mobile app fetches vitals from medical devices like Samsung and Apple Healthkits and various apps
available on Validic marketplace and syncs the data onto the Validic portal as well as the middleware
application developed by Synoptek to be used by the administrators/users.
• We introduced IoT aspect in this case where patients’ vitals are captured using medical devices through the
app and synced with Validic platform as well as managed within the customized .NET middleware application.
• Key marketplace apps supported are DarioHealth, Fitbit, Garmin Connect, iHealth Jawbone UP, Misfit
Wearables, Nokia, Omron Wellness, Polar, Striiv, and Telcare, while devices that are supported include Omron
Series, Abott, A&D UA-651, and Life Scan OneTouch.
• The app involves native Android and iOS programming and are available on both App Store and Google Play.
