This document provides logistical details for participating in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona. It outlines information on exhibitor passes, stand allocation, demo areas, meeting rooms, sales pitches, and deadlines. Exhibitor passes will provide access to networking tools and badges. Stands and demo slots will be allocated by lottery. Companies should have representatives at the Finland stand and can give 3-minute sales pitches. 4. EXHIBITOR PASSES
• Exhibitor passes are personal
• You will receive a code to the exhibitor pass to register (name & company
details)
• After your registration
• You can start using the networking tool to book meetings
• You will receive a code that fastens receiving your MWC badge
• TO DO Doublecheck your company’s crew info is correct and exhibitor
passes are addressed to right people
• You will receive a link to an exhibitor pass excel from us
5. PREMIUM STANDS - DISTRIBUTION
• In order to maximize each company’s visibility among MWC
visitors walking by the stand, each company will get:
• Aisle location for 2 days
• Inside stand location for 2 days
• Company logo signage can be unfastened so it can be easily
moved from a stand to another
• These places will be distributed by drawing lots
• Drawing conducted by Finpro in two weeks

7. DEMO PLACES - DISTRIBUTION
• Demo area dedicated to Light Package companies
• We have 5 demo places at the demo area
• The places will be allocated in 3-hour slots
• Each company has a logo signage to indicate their presence at
the demo area
• These places will be distributed by drawing lots
• Drawing conducted by Finpro in two weeks

9. YOUR PRESENCE AT FINLAND STAND
• Ideally one person of your company will be present at all times
at Finland stand
• Due to the limited size of the stand, we have to limit the number of stand
personnel per company to two people
• If you are heading to a meeting / lunch, let your advisor to know in
advance – he will back up you at the stand
• Security issue: never leave your valuables (like your laptop) unguarded!
• Premium stands have small cabin that can locked
• Inform Info Desk personnel about your absence & when you will be back
• In order to avoid ’dead screens’, we will provide a screen saver to be used
for unmanned (Premium) stands
• Keep your stand place neat & tidy as well as the overall space

managing meeting room schedule, helping with practicalities

11. MEETING ROOMS - RESERVATIONS
1) Booking guarantee period – ends on Sun, Jan 31
Premium: 2.5 hours (ten 15-minute timeslots)
Light: 1.5 hours (six 15-minute timeslots)
2) Overbooking period – ends on Sun, Feb 7
All remaining time slots available for booking (distribution
between Premium & Light in the same ratio)
3) Free booking period – ends on Thu, Feb 18
At the fair: If a meeting room is empty, it is yours to use!
I.e. at any time, including “no-shows” when there is a valid reservation,
when a meeting room is empty, it can be used by any Team Finland
company. When a person(s) with a valid reservation appear, they have
the privilege to use the room.
12. COMPANY VISIBILITY AT THE STAND
• Between sales pitches, video material will loop in the big screen
• Video material will highlight focus areas – ”themes”- as well as
participating companies

• Stage & screen available for 3-minute pitching sessions
• Each company has 2 pitches / per day

• Please book the sales pitch presentations in your daily MWC schedule to avoid
double booking with your meetings
