• IF ONE HAS MADE ABLUTION IN AND EXCELLENT MANNER
• Ubadah bin Samit (raa) reported Allah’s Messenger (sas) as saying:
If one has made ablution in and excellent manner, and then has
stood up for prayer, and has completed bowing and prostrating
and has recited in it the prayer says to him, “May Allah preserve
you as you have preserve me.” Then it ascends toward heaven
enveloped in light and brightness; the gates of heaven are opened
for it until it reaches the presence of Allah (swt), and it intercedes
with him for the one who performed it.
• A PRAYER DURING THE EARLY PARTS
• The prophet (sas) said; When the person perform a prayer during
the early parts of it’s prescribe time period, his prayer ascends
toward heaven as a light until it reaches the throne, and there it
ask forgiveness for that person until the day of resurrection,
saying, ‘O Allah, preserve him as he preserve me.
• PERFORMS A PRAYER OUTSIDE ITS TIME PERIOD
• But when a person performs a prayer outside its
time period, it ascends toward heaven covered
with darkness. When it riches there, it is folded
up as a garment and thrown back at his face,
and it says, “May Allah waste you as you wasted
me.”
• Al-Ma’un 107:4-5 “Woe (kasawian) to the
worshippers who are unmindful of their
Prayers.”
• A STORY: Ubaidullah bin Qawariri
• He said: “I never missed the evening congregational prayer. But once a guest came to my house and I
remained in his company until late.
• I went out, looking for any mosque in the City of Basra at which I could catch the congregational
(evening) prayer, but to no avail.
• The people had all prayed and gone home. I returned to my house, saying to my self, ‘It is reported in
tradition that congregational prayer is twenty-seven times more excellent than individual prayer.
• “So I prayed the evening prayer twenty seven times over and then slept.
• I saw in the dream that I was with a group of people who were racing on horses, and I was also racing
with them on my horse but I was falling down behind them.
• I kicked my horse to catch up with them but I could not.
• One of them (the riders) turned toward me and said, ‘Do not urge your horse, for you will not be able to
catch up with us.
• “I said, Why not?” He replied,
• ‘We prayed evening in congregational and you prayed it alone!
• “Therefore, I learned a lesson and was deeply grieved.” (Al-Kaba’r p.30)
• I AM BLIND AND LIVE AT A DISTANCE
• Amr bin Um Maktum (raa) said: O messenger of Allah there are
many poisonous creatures and wild animals in Madina and I am
blind and live at a distance, therefore do I have permission to pray
in my house?
• The prophet (sas) asked: “Do you hear the Adhan?” he replied:
yes,
• the prophet (sas) said: “Then respond to it you have no such
permission. (Abu Dawood)
• WHO IS THE NEIGHBOR OF A MOSQUE?
• Ali ibn Abi Talib (raa) said: “There is no prayer for the neighbor of
a mosque except in the mosque.” When he was asked, who is the
neighbor of a mosque? He replied: anyone who hears the Adhan.
(Al-Kaba’r p.30)
• HE SHOULD DO IT EVEN IF HE HAS TO CREEP OR CRAWL
• Rabi bin Khaitam, even though half of his body had become paralyzed
due to stroke, used to come to the prayer supported by two people.
• Then he was told: “You are an invalid and you have permission to pray at
home.”
• He replied: “That is what you are saying, but the caller of the prayer is
saying “come to prayer, come to success.”
• Therefore, anyone who can respond to it, he should do it even if he has
to creep or crawl (to the mosque), should do it. [Al-Kaba’r p.31]
• THE MEANING OF “UNMINDFUL IN PRAYER”
• Sa’d bn Abi Waqqas (raad) said; “I asked Allah’s Mesgr. (sas) about the
meaning of “Unmindful” (neglected) and he replied: it is delaying it (the
prayer) up to the end of its prescribe time.
• LET NOT YOUR WEALTH NOR DO YOUR CHILDREN
DISTRACT YOU
• Quran 63:9 O ye who believe! Let not your wealth nor
do your children distract you from remembrance of
Allah. Those who do so, they are the losers.
• THE FIRST THING WHICH WILL BE JUDGED
• The prophet (sas) said; “The first thing which will be
judged among a persons deeds on the day of
resurrection is the prayer. If that is in good order, he
will pass the test and prosper, and if that is defective,
he will fail the test and will be a loser. (Tirmidhi)
• THE PEOPLE IN HELL WILL BE ASKED
• "What led you into Hell-Fire?"
• “They will say: "We were not of those who prayed;"
• "Nor were we of those who fed the needy;"
• "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;"
• "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment"
• "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain."
• “Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors benefit them.” (Quran
74:42-48)
• THE COVENANT BETWEEN US AND THEM
• The prophet (sas) said; “The covenant (difference) between us and them
[the believer and nonbeliever] is prayer, if anyone abandoned it he
become an infidel.”
• NOT PRAY HAS NO RELIGION
• The one who does not pray has no religion. Prayer is the main pillar of
their religion. (Baihaqi)
THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE MUSLIM AND
CHRISTIAN IN PRAYER
MUSLIM IN PRAYER / WITH ABLUTION
•Qur’an 5:6 “O you who
believe! When you prepare
for prayer wash your faces
and your hands (and arms) to
the elbows; rub your heads
(with water); and (wash) your
feet to the ankles. If ye are in
a state of ceremonial impurity
bathe your whole body.
CHRISTIAN IN PRAYER / WITHOUT
ABLUTION
• BUT CONTRADICT IN THE BIBLE:
• Exodus 40:31-32 And Moses and
Aaron and his sons wash their hands
and their feet thereat: when they
went into the tent of the
congregation, and when they come
near unto the altar, they washed: as
the lord commanded Moses.
THE MUSLIM IN PRAYER PUT OFF
THY SHOES
• Taha 20:12 "Verily I am thy Lord!
Therefore (in My presence) put
off thy shoes: thou art in the
sacred valley of Tuwa.
THE CHRISTIAN IN PRAYER THEY
WERE NOT PUT OFF THY SHOES
• BUT CONTRADICT IN THE BIBLE:
• Acts 7:33 Put off thy shoes from
thy feet: for the place where
thou stands Is Holy ground.
PROSTRATION
THE MUSLIM / FELL & BOW DOWN
THEIR FACES
• Al-Imran 3:43 "O Mary worship
thy Lord devoutly; prostrate thyself
and bow down (in prayer) with
those who bow down.“
• Al-Fat-h 48:29 Thou wilt see them
bow and prostrate (in prayer)
seeking BOUNTY from Allah and
(His) Good Pleasure. The mark of
them is on their faces from the
traces of prostration (during prayer).
THE CHRISTIAN THEY WERE NOT
FELL & BOW DOWN THEIR FACES
• BUT CONTRADICT IN THE BIBLE:
• Joshua 5:14 Joshua fell on face
to the earth.
• 1-King 18:42 And Elijah he cast
him self down upon the earth,
and put his face between his two
knees.
• Mathew 26:39 Mark 14:35
Jesus fell on his face unto the
ground.
• “Do you think that if there was a river
at the door of one of you and bathed in
it five times a day; would any dirt
remain upon him? They said: No dirt
would remain upon him. He said: that is
how it is with the five times daily prayer,
through them Allah washes away the
sin”. (Abu Hurairah- S. Al-Bukahari)
• The five times daily prayer, and the
Jumu’ah to Jumu’ah (Friday prayer) are
an expiation for what is between them,
as long as one is not guilty of a major
sin. (Abu Hurairah – S. Muslim)
• BUT THE BIBLE STATED THE
NUMBERS OF PRAYER:
• Psalm 119:164 Seven times a day
do I praise thee because of thy
righteous Judgment.
• 1stThessalonian 5:17 Pray without
ceasing.
• Psalm 55:17 Sa hapon at sa umaga,
at sa katanghaliang tapat akoy
dadaing at hihibik.
ONENESS OF ALLAH’S NAME
THE MUSLIM CALLING THE CREATOR
IN ONE NAME
•The Muslim calling the creator
in one name and one language
(Arabic) on their prayer and
served Allah alone with unity
whatever nationality they have.
• Taha 20:14 "Verily I am Allah:
none has the right to be worship
but I: so worshipped me (alone)
and perform your prayer for My
Remembrance
THE CHRISTIAN CALLING THE
CREATOR IN MANY NAMES
•The Christian they call Allah in
different names but the Bible
confirmed the oneness of Allah’s
name.
• Zechariah 14:9 And the lord shall
be King over all the earth and his
name is one.
• Zephaniah 3:9 I turned to the
people a pure language that they
may all call upon the name of the
lord, and to serve him with one
consent.
THE MUSLIM IN PRAYER HAS NO
IDOLS
• Qur’an 4:48 “Verily, Allah forgives not
that partners should be ascribe to him;
but He forgives anything else to whom
He pleases; and whoever ascribe
partners with Allah in worship, has
indeed invented a tremendous sin.
• Narrated by Umar I heard the prophet
saying, "Do not exaggerate in praising
me as the Christians praised the son of
Mary, for I am only a slave. So, call me
the Slave of Allah and His Apostle." S.
Al-Bukhari 4.654)
THEY SERVED AND THEY
WORSHIP IDOLS
• Exodus 20:3-6 *Thou shall not make
unto thee any graven image, or any
likeness of anything that is heaven
above or that is in the earth beneath, or
that is in the water under the earth:
*Thou shall not bow down thy self to
them: *nor serve them: I am a jealous
God.
• Efeso 5:5 Mapagsambasa mga dios
diosan walang ano mang mamanahin sa
kaharian ni Christo at ng Dios.
• Jeremiah 10:8 Tampalasan at hangal
ang turo ng mga dios diosan yaoy kahoy
lamang.
IN PRAYER, WHY WITH DANCING AND
SINGING!
THE MUSLIM IN PRAYER NO
MUSIC INSTRUMENT
• They never clap their hands,
dancing and singing.
• Al-Fath 48:29 You see them bowing
and falling down prostrate (in
prayer) seeking Bounty from Allah
and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark
of them is on their faces from the
traces of their prostration (during
prayer).
• Al-Imran 3:43 “O Mary! Worship
thy Lord devoutly; prostrate thyself
and bow down (in prayer) with
those who bow down."
BUT IN CHRISTIANITY IN PRAYER
THEY USED MUSIC INSTRUMENT
• They used music instrument claps
their hands, holding hands (men &
women) dancing and singing.
• Is this the way of worship of Jesus
before?
• WHAT THE BIBLE SAY’S!
• Mathew 26:39 & Mark 14:35 Jesus
fell on his face unto the ground.
• The Muslim women in prayer covered thy
hair as Allah commanded unto them.
• An-Nur 24:31 And say to the believing
women that they should lower their gaze and
guard their modesty; that they should not
display their beauty and ornaments except
what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that
they should draw their veils over their
bosoms and not display their beauty.....
• THE VERTUES OF HIJAB
• Among the virtues of observing the proper
Hijab for Muslim women, the first and
foremost is and act of obedience to Allah and
His Messenger.
• In Christianity women are not oblige to
cover thy hair, but the Bible stated that every
women should covered thy hair.
• 1-Corinthians 11:5-6 But every woman that
prayed or prophesied with her head
uncovered dishonored her head: For that is
even all one as if she were shaven. For if the
woman be not covered, let her be also be
shorn: But if it be a shame for a woman to be
shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
THE MUSLIM WOMEN NOT ALLOWED
TO SPEAK INSIDE THE MOSQUE
• And they were not also allowing them
to lead the congregation prayer. And
they were separate for men inside the
Mosque for the reason, to protect them
selves by devils work. But if they were
all women inside the room, one of them
can lead the prayer.
CHRISTIAN WOMEN ALLOWED TO
SPEAK INSIDE THE CHURCH
• BUT NOT IN THE BIBLE
• 1-Corinthians 14:34-35 Let your
women keep silence in the Churches: For
it is not permitted unto them to speak:
• And if they will learn anything, let
them ask their husband at home:
• For it is a shame for a woman to speak
in the Church.
• THEIR WOMEN LEAD THE PRAYER
• 1-Timothy 2:12 Sabi nang Panginoon
hindi ko pinahihintulutang magturo ang
babae: Huwag siyang mamuno sa Lalaki
kundi tumahimik.
